KFC — Restaurant in Edinburg

Good evening I was literally just 30 minutes ago in this location and we had a really uncomfortable experience with the personnel at this location. We really enjoyed this product of kfc chicken and decided to eat in McAllen unfortunately they did not had leg and thigh which are the product we enjoyed the best. When we arrived the employee was cleaning the lobby I understand it was 20 minutes before the location was closed and she was cleaning the lobby and her facial expression of disappointment and fustration when we arrive make us feel really uncomfortable and unapprepreciated another family was behind us and also felt the bad vibe she communicate to the office manager that we arrive and lock the door and they were all whispering and talking to each other making us felt like we were the party disaster. Guys please it comes with the job, I work as an employee in a restaurant and fast food as well and yes also did not like it and that is why I decided to change careers. You all know who you are the associates working today Saturday the 11th of June of 2022 at the closing shift. BTW you guys forget to pack me my biscuits that’s what happen when you work in a rush trying to get a customer as soonest possible. This does not reflect on the company but the crew shift...

It had been years since I had KFC, and I was craving some fried chicken.

The building is well maintained, and when I went, it was mostly empty, no line, but clean and peaceful. They offer dine-in, take out, or drive through.

I got a chicken dinner to go: original recipe chicken, with fries, and a biscuit. Yes, the fried chicken is a bit greasy as expected, but delicious. The fries were mediocre. The biscuit was very good.

I didn't even consider the instant mashed potatoes because I remember not liking them before. I'm not fond of instant. I have not tried their maacaroni and cheese. I do remember their Cole slaw and corn are reasonably good.

Their menu offers sandwiches, chicken tenders, as well as traditional bone-in chicken, original recipe or crispy. There are several sides to add to meals, and also desserts. The food was fresh and hot.

The service was prompt and friendly. They had plenty of room for a small group.

KFC is not a place for elegant dining, but it is nice for a fast food restaurant, especially if you're wanting more...

I don't usually review commercial places...but I've eaten at this KFC plenty of times already.

The KFC recipe speaks for itself...the original chicken is delicious and has tried to be repeated by many. It fits perfectly in the RGV where people love their fatty foods.

That being said...they have branched out into sandwiches. Every time I've ordered their chicken sandwich...it comes out piping hot, which to me means it was freshly made. The chicken has always gone out perfectly cooked...and it is definitely a bargain price.

The service here has been quick and efficient. I personally love their fries. They have a blend of seasoning that make them a good complement to the sandwich. The star here is their new buffalo ranch sauce. I can drizzle that sauce over everything and it makes the sandwich and fries pop!

This KFC is definitely a good option for anyone looking for a bargain lunch in the middle of their lunch hour. Not the last time I will have...
