I drove all the way from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I arrived at the store on 03/04/23, I was then greeted by a nice young gentleman and older lady. As I was shopping throughout the store I was asked many times if I needed any help and I absolutely love that. The young gentlemen that was there was so sweet, kind, and passionate about his job. The older lady was always on top of things and helped me when I needed help. One downfall that I had was I think there was some miscommunication going on in the back of the store. I heard multiple instances of yelling coming from the backroom and I could hear it all the way out on the floor where I was shopping. I heard a lady yelling and screaming at what sounded like another gentleman in the back room. I didn’t ask any questions because that is truly none of my business but it did ruin my shopping experience. My wife and I had attempted to walk into this store and as soon as we walked in we were asked to leave due to "their" high volume of people. So we kindly stepped out didn't even make it in the door. There was no sign or any sort of information stating there is a wait if there over capacity. As soon as we stepped out a white family walks in and they kindly let them in. I'm disappointed they discriminated against me and my family. So we walked out and came back an hour later. An hour later it seemed like the rules didn't even exist anymore. I love MK, I have always bought MK, never had any other brand of purse. However the last 3 times I’ve walked into this place, the employees have not greeted me and they look me up and down my back is turned (I’ve watched them in the mirrors). They assume I am less of a customer because I’m younger than the average customer and I have tattoos? 3 times walking in, different weeks, different employees, but I got treated the same all 3 times. I took my business to Kate Spade, which hasn’t been my cup of tea but they treated me nice when I walked in, and I found a set that I liked. I’ll be returning to Kate Spade.
