Annie Benzie, M.D. — Local services in Edison

Today I met Dr Benzie and her staff for the first time. I was nervous. Well it is now a few hours after leaving the office, and I am so glad I was referred to this surgeon. From the moment I met her I started feeling better. She explained the surgical procedure I need in detail, and explained it in words I was able to comprehend. The office staff, nurses and Dr Benzie all blew away my expectations. I highly recommend this Doctor and her staff to anyone out there looking for a great Surgeon.

Update...I had my gallbladder removed yesterday afternoon. Dr Benzie did a wonderful job. I was so nervous prior to the surgery and Dr Benzie and her team of nurses made me feel so comfortable before the surgery started. I am at home in recovery today feeling a lot better than I thought I would. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Benzie to anyone out there looking for a great General Surgeon. Thank You Dr Benzie for helping me get through this medical issue with minimal discomfort....

Dr. Annie Laurie Benzie is knowledgable, compassionate, pleasant, and takes time to explain everything. She does not rush you at all. She is awesome. Her nurse, Christina is amazing, too. She made me feel comfortable, and took away my anxiety. Her pleasant and friendly demeanor was so calming that I actually forgot my pain for a while. She was great at explaining the process to me and helping me understand every step. Her staff Christine and Serena are helpful and pleasant as well. I am happy and honored to have met them all. If you need a Surgeon, Dr. Annie Laurie Benzie is the ONE. I would not go to anyone else. Love her, Christina, Christine, and Serena. What lovely, caring professionals they are. May GOD...

I originally called to see Dr. Dasmahapatra who operated on my grandmother. When I found out he retired and I found out that Dr. Benzie studied under him I knew I found my new surgeon. Dr. Benzie has the most amazing bedside manner. Everyone loves her including me. She most recently helped get rid of a hiatal hernia that was very symptomatic. I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Benzie. If you need a seasoned surgeon with an amazing bedside manner, awesome personality and a dr that listens to you, explains things and takes her time with you please see Dr. Benzie. You will love her...
