I am extremely upset and distressed over my visit to Da Vinci Dental yesterday. I went in to get my tooth bonded by Dr Fuentes (see pictures included) and only 6 hours later, the bonding completely broke off! Bonding is supposed to last 8-10 years, and this didn't even last one DAY! All I ate a few hours after getting my tooth bonded was a turkey sandwich, and all I drank was water - nothing significant which can be blamed for this. The last time I had a tooth bonded, it lasted 10 years. I am completed baffled by this. Aside from this very obvious problem, the visit in general was less than pleasant. My appointment was at 12, I wasn't seen until 12:30 (normally I wouldn't complain about this but after what happened, I am sharing everything - and I feel this is the reason my appointment was so rushed). The hygienist/dental assistant (whoever took my xrays) was snotty, rude, and incompetent - she spent the majority of the time mumbling to herself incoherently under her mask if she wasn't asking you questions rudely, and she didn't know where anything was. Dr Fuentes herself is nice (I've been to her once previously) but did not explain the process whatsoever or tell me what she was doing. The entire procedure seemed rushed and unorganized and I felt very uncomfortable and like I was being hurried out, however, I trusted this place and the good reviews left for this place. The first picture (on the left) is what my bonded tooth looked like immediately after leaving Da Vinci Dental (I took the picture right outside the building - the experience left me feeling uneasy so I chose to document the work done). The second picture is 6 hours later, cracked, broken, jagged. I am now torn between returning to this place that already did a poor job and hoping they will fix it, or trying to find a new place and then paying out of pocket for an exam, X-rays, and new bonding on top of it. I will update this review if anything changes. I am horrified that I will possibly have to see my family on Thanksgiving in a few days looking like this.

Went to another dentist after this place and they said their work was terrible! My crowns were left with pockets holes ;which are now making my teeth look gray (every person in my family that has come here has faced the same problem ) they have the nerve to try and charge my insurance again for a job they didn’t do right the first time !Also I was told an extra tooth was removed which was without my consent . I called multiple times to have the owner fix these issues and they are avoiding me. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE YOUR TEETH ARE IMPORTANT BUT THEY DO NOT CARE AND ARE JUST MONEY HUNGRY .ITS FUNNY HOW YOU RESPOND HERE BUT AVOID CALLING BACK OR TRYING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM . BEWARE PEOPLE !

After reaching out to my insurance company I was able to better understand the charges. I had seen Dr. Morazan for a filling and it wasn’t sanded correctly so I went back on to have it check as it was bothering me and because he was busy Dr. Fuentes took a look. During this she prep me for a root canal to which I stated that I rather a complete extraction than a root canal. She sanded down the tooth and up until now is healthy and not bothering me (the filling was just too high) no root canal needed (this can be considered fraud). She charged me for the visit as a 2nd check up oral exam despite that was only a few days apart from the first oral exam And the paid procedure that only needed a sand down. This should have been managed by Dr. Morazan since he had been the one completing the original work. When I schedule my second cleaning for the year I was out of oral exams and that was the charge I was never billed for but according to the office I owe late fees. Later on they admitted to no having billed and explained to me that I should have received the explanation of benefits and know what was covered. The insurance explained that no that’s not how it works and they suggested to put a complaint with the NJ dental board. Now they sent the bill to collections and hiked up from $79 to $180. This doesn’t end here. My son was billed for about $125 and when we contacted the insurance company they indicated that they had paid a 100% for the visit and we didn’t owe anything to them. This practice is shady. They are desperate and they are extremely unprofessional. Dr. Fuentes is extremely money hungry. The office manager is unprofessional. I feel bad for the nice ladies at the front desk because they were always kind. Dr. Fuentes actually performed a root canal on my son and for what i see he probably didn’t even needed it as well. I am waiting to fill out a complaint and pursue some type of legal action to have them remove that collection. People should know they are not billing right. They were extremely defensive when I tried to ask for details and got the wrong information Be careful don’t put your mouth in the hands of people like this. Th we lost my business and my 2 kids and possibly other referrals from relatives. I am latina and I am always trying to support my people but this was a turn of and...

For reference, this review is in regards to a regular cleaning visit that happened before COVID-19. Like any person at a new office, I checked with the office staff prior to my appointment that my insurance was accepted so I did not incur any unprecedented costs. According to the front desk staff they accepted my insurance and because it was a regular cleaning everything was covered by the insurance I even double checked the day of the appointment AGAIN. So 2 months later after my appointment, I receive a bill in the amount of over $300 !! I was shocked to receive a bill from the office when it was a standard cleaning visit and my insurance was supposedly in network and they had told me the day of the visit that they checked the benefits and everything was covered, but 2 months later they told me that the receptionist made a mistake and they didn’t take my insurance! They still wanted me to pay the full amount even though it was THEIR MISTAKE. And that’s not it. After all that a year later my husband gets a bill from them saying that the insurance didn’t wanna pay for his cleaning either so I verified his benefits and it was in fact supposed to be covered but the billing was processed incorrectly and submitted MONTHS after his actual visit. His insurance representative told me if reprocessed correctly it would be covered 100%. Over a year later and now, he’s being threatened to be put in collections (for $200) because they are not willing to re-bill the visit correctly. The office manager is very rude and have been no help AT ALL even though it was their mistake. BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE. Verify with your insurance yourself so this doesn’t happen to you!! I personally recommend you NOT TO GO to this office they only wanna...
