Title: False Halal Claims and Non-Compliance with Shariah - Beware!
Review: I am utterly disappointed with my recent visit to this Indian restaurant, which claims to offer "Halal" food but fails to comply with Shariah regulations. This place is a disgrace to the principles of honesty and integrity.
Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed several red flags. The management and staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional, giving off a vibe of dishonesty. However, I decided to give it a chance and ordered their supposedly "Halal" dishes.
To my dismay, the food served here clearly does not meet the standards of Halal as advertised. As someone who follows strict dietary guidelines, I was appalled to learn that they have been falsely portraying their food as Halal to unsuspecting customers. It is crucial for businesses to adhere to their claims and provide authentic Halal options to the Muslim community.
Furthermore, the overall quality of the food was subpar. The flavors were bland, and the ingredients seemed of mediocre quality, which only adds to the already disappointing experience. It is evident that this restaurant prioritizes profit over honesty and customer satisfaction.
To make matters worse, upon raising my concerns with the staff, they dismissively shrugged off my worries, further reinforcing their lack of concern for customer feedback. It is evident that they are fully aware of their dishonest practices but choose to ignore any attempts to rectify the situation.
I am appalled by the lack of accountability and responsibility displayed by this establishment. I feel cheated and betrayed, as my trust in their Halal claims has been shattered. This restaurant has violated the trust of its customers, and it is crucial for consumers to be aware of their false advertising and disregard for Shariah compliance.
I will be reporting this misleading and unscrupulous business to the relevant authorities, as well as US business consumers, to prevent others from falling victim to their deceitful practices. It is essential to hold businesses accountable for their actions, especially when it comes to matters of religious significance and consumer trust.
In conclusion, I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this dishonest Indian restaurant, as they are falsely advertising Halal food while failing to comply with Shariah regulations. Save yourself the disappointment and find an establishment that genuinely values its customers' trust and...
Read moreI walked in to enjoy a dine in meal. I ordered food and they sat me at a 2 person table that had dirty fork, dirty knife, and dirty table cloth. I tried to sit at a 4 person table that had clean table cloth and was told they are unable to get clean table cloth right now so I have to sit at a dirty one. I should have walked out at this point, but didn't listen to my gut.
I asked for a glass of water. I received it quickly. I took a sip of it since I was dehydrated from moving around all morning. It tasted metallic. I haven't tasted water like that since Hurricane Sandy when we had a notice to not drink tap water. Disgusting. I looked at the glass and realized that jt had lip marks on it already that weren't mine. Absolutely disturbing. They clearly don't wash their forks, table cloth, and glasses.
I had amready ordered veg kottu and didn't get up to leave when I really should have. I received the dish in a reasonable time. I ate some of it and whole time I'm nervously eating the meal thinking about the water taste and realizing they made the dish using the same dirty water. I look down at the dish and notice a dead cockroach. 🪳
I got up. Called the server over. Handed him my plate and his face had a smirk on it. I walked out and am now praying I don't get pathogens from the water, food, or cockroach this place fed me.
Congratulations for being the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to in my...
Read more.It was my birthday and wanted to eat lunch close to Kerala style lunch as possible. Ordered red rice and fish curry.I always wanted to try sambol too,So also ordered that. A plate full of red rice, dal, okra fry and a salad with a bowl of king fish curry and papadam came. May be I am used to more sour fish curry, it was kind of not up to the mark for my taste(not sure if that was how it was supposed to taste, never had eaten Srilankan food before).Sambol tasted like Kerala style coconut chutney to me and I felt it was a bit pricey for a small bowl. Salad was great.
My kids ordered roti with mutton curry and kothu parotta. Kothu parotta came with a bowl of some gravy which was very unfamiliar to me. Mutton curry also was very different from what I am used to.(I am more used to Indian style) I think may be more of what I am used to and what I ate there was very different. As I said I havent eaten Srilankan food before.
Srilankan Iced tea tasted like the normal lemon tea with ice,I didnt see any difference.
Friendly service but no one never came and asked if we wanted anything else.
I may go back as I want...
