OUT OF STATE BUYERS - RUN update 01/27/24 - still no plates, temps expired December 17th 2023. Over a month with an unregistered vehicle. Several hundred dollar processing fee for them to be royally incapable and incompetent (think they will refund it because they obviously didnāt fulfill the service? Think again, they are keeping your money). Sales manager Eric never called back, GM never called back, even Albert who left a reply to my review to call him? Yeah, he didnāt call back either. Iāve incurred nearly $1,000 of additional expenses to have a legal vehicle to drive and the only āresponseā from the dealership is they expedited the plates.. that are still over a month late. Iāve filed paperwork with the NJ attorney general as well as with Audi of America. My attorney will be next. Out of state buyers, genuinely, avoid at all costs. Iāve purchased vehicles from Ohio, Connecticut, Mass and Kentucky and NEVER been met with such lack of service and capability.
Update 1/13/24 : I was informed that this delay was caused by them selling the vehicle before they had possession of the title. The PO then couldnāt find it and they had to file for a lost title. They did not receive the new title in their name until January 3rd.. 3 weeks AFTER the temp they gave me expired (I PURCHASED the vehicle from them in November). My temp is over a month expired and I still have no tags, no nature of urgency for the matter. I want to make sure this is clear, the paperwork to the NYS DMV did not even make it to the DMV until AFTER MY TEMP EXPIRED and the only reason I was given any answers was because I left a poor review. Took the remaining 1 star away, disappointed. Was told this isnāt really the dealerships fault.. as if they didnāt knowingly list the vehicle for sale and then sell it without having possession of the title, all while sending an out of state buyer off with a 30 day temp KNOWING they arenāt getting them plates in 30 days (not illegal in NJ, but scummy nonetheless). Make a quick buck, hit some year end numbers and run. Still driving my old car, because no, Iām not driving my monthly commute up and down the entire east coast in an unregistered vehicle.
OUT OF STATE BUYERS BEWARE Iām about 4hours north in NY and traveled for the inventory to purchase a Q7, was sent on my way with a 30 day temp tag and assured I would be sent my NYS plates and registration in the mail. Well, right at the holiday season, my temp plate is multiple weeks expired and nobody can be bothered to even provide details on when I will receive them. Sent on my way with a 30 day temp tag to only have it expired and have a car that is not legal to drive for the holidays. I had to go back to NYS DMV on my own time and register a different vehicle so that I had a legal vehicle to drive. They will act like you should just keep driving on expired tags, but according to the NYS trooper who stopped me for expired out of state registration, thatās not a good idea. When I called and spoke to the secretary of sales, I was told they get the plates at the dealer 40-45 days after purchase and that the temp tag has a 10 day grace period. Iām outside the 10 day grace period (which is not noted anywhere on the plate, so the expiration date attracts plenty of attention in massive letters), expired and still havenāt heard a peep from the dealer. Instead, I had to take my own time, spend more money and register and insure another of my vehicles that was parked for winter to even drive legally. If you donāt have a second vehicle, donāt depend on having a legal vehicle to drive. Iāve bought multiple new and used vehicles from many different dealerships, post sale service here is more reminiscent of a wholesale lot than a dealer. +1 star only because my salesman and the grumpy finance manager stayed late to finish my sale (probably why he was grumpy, no harm, no foul). Car looks great sitting in my driveway waiting for the opportunity to legally drive it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. CAUTION: PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS ON THIS DEALERSHIP BEFORE PURCHASING!! To say that I am appalled at the treatment I have received from ALL employees - salesperson to management - would be an understatement! I purchased my vehicle on 21 October 2023 and outstanding items are STILL not resolved! I STILL have temporary tags because every week for a month, they found documents that I should have signed but they did not present to me! They say out-of-state transfers are delayed but they do not acknowledge their incompetency in this whole process!
I gave everyone ample opportunity to correct my situation, but they failed on all levels. Brand Specialist, Maged Misak, was very unsure of the sales process and depended HEAVILY on his coworkers and Sales Manager (Albert Nkanso).
Albert (and others) showed signs of disappointment, frustration and irritability with Maged. He misrepresented an incentive (a screen protector) and then acted as if I was lying when I asked Albert about it. He never set up the MyAudi app and I am still having issues.
Because I was there on a Saturday, I was not able to contact my insurance company. Maged claimed he had to pay for my temporary insurance out of his pocket for me to drive the vehicle off the lot. He was rude, talked over me, and I had to tell him several times to calm down and talk to me with respect!
Business Manager (Finance) Barry Crincoli exhibited the highest level of incompetence I have ever witnessed! He had a horrible cough, wore no mask and did nothing to control / contain his cough! He did not appreciate questions about the documents and tried to rush the whole process.
From the next day through the middle of November, I received several calls, voicemails and text messages from Barry and Maged, identifying documents that they FORGOT to get me to sign! I returned to the dealership TWICE after purchasing the vehicle because of documentation that they neglected to present to me. THIS IS THE REAL REASON THE TRANSFER OF TAGS AND TITLES WAS DELAYED BUT NO ONE AT THE DEALERSHIP WOULD ADMIT THAT!
Days after taking possession of the vehicle, Barry contacted me about another document to sign. He emailed it and I noticed that it was not what he said it should be. When I called Barry and Maged about it, they both got indignant and told me that I HAD to sign it. When I mentioned that the document had nothing to do with what Barry said it would be, they both got belligerent and insisted that I sign it!
I looked at the copies of the documents that I signed, found the document that they claimed I did NOT sign and sent them a copy. They stated - that doesn't matter, we still need you to sign this insurance document. Sensing something was WRONG, RED FLAGS WAVING ALL OVER THE PLACE, I refused to sign that document and sought financing elsewhere.
What followed for weeks and now months (because my situation is STILL not resolved) has been a horrible experience! I have had to write SEVERAL emails to managers, Albert and Ryan Schmidt (General Manager), because trying to get them on the phone was next to impossible, requesting that they have Maged and Barry refrain from contacting me! Maged and Barry tried to bully me (I still have the voicemails and text messages to prove it!) because THEY did not know how to properly complete the sales process! Both Albert and Ryan ignored my emails! I received one call from Ryan, and that was AFTER I sent payment in full because I refused to work with their SUPER INCOMPETENT BUSINESS MANAGER, BARRY CRINCOLI.
Unfortunately, Audi North America (Reston, VA) provided no beneficial assistance! They said they contacted the local management (Albert and Ryan) and do not get involved with their matters. I have had to contact the Fraud Trade Commission of NJ (and soon the Better Business Bureau) because I have exhausted all means in working with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't write reviews and I don't like doing this. I waited 3 months before I wrote this review hoping that Bell Audi would reach out to me and make it right. However, that didnāt happen, so I needed to write this review to worn other customers who would consider buying a vehicle from Bell Audi. Let me start by saying this place shouldn't be in business. Complete fraudulent dealership. This is what I experienced. I purchased a vehicle there from Kevin he was my salesman. First of all, this dealership charges a $799.00 dealer fee on top of the price of the vehicle that they don't tell you about until the deal is in place. This fee is not mandated by the state it's an additional fee this dealership charges. I live out of state so they issued me a 30-day temp plate the salesman Kevin assured me that Bell Audi will have my new vehicle registered before the 30 days expire. Unfortunately, this is my horror story on the 20th day I called spoke to the receptionist. She told me to relax, and they have 10 more days to get the vehicle registered. I then called Kevin left him a message. I got no response, I e-mailed him as well I also text him on his cell phone which was on the business card, he gave me. Again, no response. I waited a couple of days now my vehicle temp tag was due to expire in 4 days. After contacting the two sales managers Albert & Joseph and again contacting Kevin and getting no response from either one of them, on the 28 days of my temp tag expiring, I get a call from Kevin to tell me there was an error and they canāt get my registration to me in time. Why would they wait to the last minute to tell me that. I told them I can't drive the vehicle with an expired temp tag, I will get pulled over and I need to drive the car to work. This is what the Kevin Audi salesman told me, don't worry just drive the vehicle, the police will not pull you over and if they do will pay the summons. Itās not about paying the summons this is a moving violation I would get points on my license. To make a long story short I had to take the day off from work drive 120 miles round trip pay additional tolls and go back to Bell Audi to pick up the title from them so I can register the vehicle on my own, which I did that same day. They had 30 days and couldn't do it. However, they charged me to have to vehicle registered and now wont refund me the title & registration fee they charged me. I called left messages to the sales managers along with the salesman and they just don't return my calls. By law they are required to refund the registration fee since they didn't have that done for me. Apparently, they don't think so. I reached out to consumer affairs and filed a complaint about this dealership I also called Audi headquarters and waiting for a response from them. This dealership has a lot of bad reviews I wish I would have googled them before I purchased my vehicle from them. There are many other reputable Audi dealership other than Bell Audi. This place is a horror show it lacks...
