I know in todays world of uncertainty and troubles the last thing anyone should be complaining about is a $2.00 cookie! But I work hard for my money and I take pride in serving a meal and dessert. I have done business with Eileen’s Colossal Cookies, in Edmond for years……I know at least 15! The past two times I have been so disappointed in both the cookies and the service. This past Christmas, (3 weeks before Christmas) I called to place an order for December 19th. A RUDE lady said, “we are too busy to take orders over the phone, you have to come into the store”. I went into the store personally & ordered 4 dozen decorated cookies. They had decorated cookies in the case, I ordered like cookies, such as, Santa, Reindeer, snowflakes, etc., and paid in full! EACH decorated cookie is $2.00 EACH! When I placed the order they TOLD me what time I could pick them up, they said between 2:00 and 4:00. I was purchasing them for a luncheon this day at 12:00. The lady was discussed with me that I would needed to pick them up between 10:30 and 11:00, (with the length of notice I was giving them I did not see a problem with the time I requested.) Finally, she agreed to have the cookies ready so that I could have them for the luncheon. I almost walked out, but these were the cookies that had been requested. Fast forward to picking the cookies up on the 19th….when I arrived the cookies were ready and boxed. The girl that was helping me opened each box to show me……and OMG, these were NOT the cookies that I had come in and ordered. Yes, these were decorated Christmas cookies but they looked as if they had been decorated by a Kindergarten class. I looked in the display case that was full of the beautiful decorated cookies and I asked the girl exchange what she was giving me, with the beautiful cookies in the case, she said, “I am not allowed to do that”! By now time was drawing close to our Luncheon so I took what they forced on me and left. I had refused and not done business with them since this, but for Easter all one of my daughters wanted was Eileen’s Cookies. So I went into Eileen’s on March 22nd and again viewed the Easter cookies in the display case. The girl that waited on me said, “yes, whatever you order, that is what the cookies will look like”. I ordered 2 different styles of decorated cookies, one with an Easter chick and one an Easter egg, that were brightly colored and very appealing. I requested to pick up the cookies on Saturday the 8th, and the girl was very rude and told me, “we have way too many orders for Saturday”, I would have to pick them up on Friday. I advised her that I would be out of town until Saturday. She finally agreed and told me “you HAVE to pick them up by NOON”. Again, I prepaid for each $2.00 cookie!!!! I arrived at Eileen’s Cookies at approximately 10:30, this past Saturday, to pick up the cookies. The girl that helped me went and got my boxed order, opened the box to show me the cookies, and again OMG!!!! These were not the lovely colorful cookies that I had ordered!!!!! These looked much much smaller and the color of every one was a diluted pastel color and decorating was terrible. When asked to trade with cookies that were in the display case, I was told “NO”! I did take my paid for cookies and I did serve them, but every guest commented that the taste of the icing was not the same and the cookie itself just fell apart and crumbled. BEWARE….I can assure you, if you place an order you will NOT get what you ordered, and they will not APPRECIATE you or your business. I have attached photos of the pitiful $2.00 cookies, and as you can also see the size has shrunk soooo much that the box is TWO TIMES too big for a dozen cookies!! These boxes were made to fit 12 regular size cookies. The box of beautiful and very tasteful cookies are from GiGi’s Cupcakes, they are shaped cut, hand iced, DELICIOUS and compare in price. I will not let Eileen’s “bait and switch” me again! I am going to...

Obviously, a customer service trait that seems to have faded in many of today’s retail environments. (Thank you to YOU Eileen’s Associates! Your service is outstanding & appreciated!
STORE APPEARANCE: I like the “wide open, all to see” concept of the interior. Front-to-back always clean and orderly. Employees always following proper sanitary & product handling procedures.
QUALITY: The Cookies are always fresh and consistent in size & quality. The flavors of the cookies are not bad but do lack some in taste. Yes, you definitely get a good sugar rush on the frosted cookies but I find the regular unfrosted cookies definitely have more of a dry commercial-like consistency and taste to them. The cookies are alway tender, soft and have a “cake-like” consistent texture to them. With the exception of the lemon cookies, the cookies do not standout in the taste and texture department. BUT, they are “good” cookies. Just not “WOW”...
Read moreMy husband and kids came to try this place for the first time. I had called ahead and asked if I needed to order ahead of time for 2 dozen cookies for a party and they said they always had plain sugar cookies out to buy same day if I wanted to to do it that way. Fast forward, we get there and I ask for the two dozen cookies and then my daughter wanted to try one of their single decorated ones on display. We all decided we would get one for each of us because they are fun and decorated so why not? The girl behind the counter was very rude throughout the duration of our order. Which we were confused because we were being respectful and polite to her. After each cookie we had asked for she would say “is that all?” With attitude. Then, she went to help the other worker with the next customer and she very kindly told that customer to have a good day with a smile and then went back to being very hateful to us..? We were definitely not impressed with this location and will not be back. It’s sad because the cookies were great themselves but the customer...
