Bee Healthy Cafe (Edmond - Santa Fe) — Restaurant in Edmond

I will be one hundred percent honest. I have been to bed healthy cafe 6 times. Every time I have loved it aside from the last time I went. I always get a smoothie the Elvis, or the Tommy are great options. However last time the regular protein was swapped out with plant protein and that was the worst smoothie of my life I could not finish it. Also my last visit I and my husband gave the food a try. We bought a $12 salmon salad and a chicken wrap, I can’t remember the pricing on that. They were both very nasty. The salmon and chicken didn’t taste fresh at all. They seemed frozen or pre cooked. The salmon was super fishy tasting in a bad way. I cook salmon at home and have eaten it elsewhere and have never tasted something like that. The chicken was rubbery it seemed like something I would find in my middle school cafeteria for lunch 6 years ago. It was repulsive. Bee Healthy still will get my business but I don’t...

Ordered the vegan tofudilla melt and a regular health nut (yet somehow nut free) smoothie. All efforts for quality must have went into the 🐝 marketing.

Melt was not melted, as indicated by the solidness of the vegan smoked Gouda; heck, it was barely grilled. Tofu was not grilled (pretty sure I saw them nuke it before placing in the tortilla) and there were only about six small pieces mixed with the even smaller amount of onion, pepper, and tomato drowned in the vegan chipotle mayo.

Smoothie was okay; definitely not the best I’ve had, especially for the price.

And speaking of price, does a gimmick (🐝 🐝) automatically mean higher prices? Neither were worth the prices paid. Melt could be dropped by 3$ and smoothie by 2$ and still turn a profit.

All-in-all, this establishment ranks in the Applebees category of eating out. Meaning the food was edible, but...

Update “Wish I could give another 5, I placed an order online and they called to apologize to let me know that the item I chose was unfortunately no longer available and immediately wanted to remedy this issue. WOW! Who even does that anymore, what amazing customer service as well as fantastic food. Your not going to get that level of service on an online order at any fast foods places I’m aware of.”

We order frequently through the week from work. Consistently fantastic service and food every single time from the Edmond location. So glad we have a healthy alternative away from typical fast food. Everything we’ve had on the menu we’ve loved. From the wraps, to the salads, to the smoothies.We all have our favorites. Can’t wait to try...
