Two employees here were the rudest people I ever met at a business anywhere. Others were just not paying attention. 3 of them were In the office chatting when I stood at the counter. I had to tell a girl that was taking an order for drive-through on the front register to get one to help me! You shouldn't ever be taking a drive-through order on a register for lobby customers. I worked at La Baguette bakery in Norman, 5 different McDonald's, 2 Taco Bells and a Taco Bell Express/Deli among other places so I have about 20 years of experience running a register+ customer service and some management experience! I came to get a brownie I saw on the internet but, I was told they hadn't had it for 3 years probably. I got the corporate office number because I was curious if the same person that ran Taco Mayo owned it and they didn't know. I asked how much they pay and some red headed teenager snapped at me and said that it was none of my business how much she got. That is not what I meant - I think they need better help so I wanted to know what the starting pay was( but not for me). Since she was so rude I asked her what her name was she got even more rude/vocal and said she didn't "have to tell me because she was underaged". I went out the door but I changed my mind and came back to tell them the lobby trash needed changed. Her and another female got rude with me that time and said they were too busy. I never did figure out if one was a manager or not because when I called later on another day the manager didn't answer my question but she put the general manager on the phone instead. He was stupid enough to try to take up for his employees. I called the corporate office more than once before I ever called and got him. Oh, the red headed brat told me too that I could call the corporate office but it wouldn't do any good and said it more than once. Sadly, she was right. One man had said he'd tell the district manager my complaints but I waited long enough so I called again and again. The only reason I spoke to the district manager was because I accidentally got him when I called the location on Broadway. He didn't want to hear the rest of my complaint when I called again saying I forgot to tell him something. He said he was too busy and he would have to call me back. He never called me back. The office manager made a ridiculous statement like I hope all you hope happens is the customer service improves and told me I didn't have the right to ask that people be fired. The first guy in the office supposably got covid-19 or something and they tried to blame that for why I didn't get called back, absurd, he was there the day I complained. This is all about not wanting to deal with a valid complaint. By the time I got to talk to the district manager if any video tape was even helpful it was gone by now. I was so upset after I left the restaurant that I forgot to make sure noone was turning near me after the crosswalk light came on and a woman in a car hit me in the my left rib area But didn't stop for 75 feet so it knocked me over on Danforth. She said she never saw me even though I was standing there on the corner on the same side as her car and pushed the button for the walklight to come on. The walk light comes on at the same time as the light turns green but you know you have to look for pedestrians first before you start moving your vehicle. She didn't even get one ticket for it after hitting a human being! I went to the ER because I had chest pains and lucky I did because that wasn't the only thing wrong. I still can't lift 50 pounds to get the job I put a paper application in before I got hit and that happened December 5th, 2020. I also had trouble getting the footage of the accident and had to get the engineering department to save it and give it to the police station. Don't take the police station's word about things if you get in an accident, they said the camera was not working and the footage couldn't be obtained. Maybe a lawyer will get something done about all this nonsense. It just wasn't my day is an...
Read moreSo City Bites have brought out a new product. Macaroni and cheese. Now you may be tempted to order this as a side. For adults, just say no. That mac and cheese is just Blue Box Macaroni and cheese and they use too much butter in the mix. It's normally $0.50 a box at walmart, and you'll get maybe a 4th of a portion with possibly burnt noodles like I did. They charge $2.99 as a side. It would be great as a kid's side, but if you're an adult, don't order it. It's highway robbery for such a bland product. Go to KFC in the same area for better mac and cheese. Also the 3 stars is for their terrible bathroom. Like being at a nasty gas station bathroom. Pieces missing from the wall, your feet stick to the floor...just wasn't pleasant. Little longer than normal wait time for...
Read moreRude Customer Service is unacceptable. The other day I had walked in with my family and we had walked to the counter with nobody behind it, while waiting for around 7 minutes we finally got help from who I assumed to be a manager since all she was doing was sitting around from the moment we walked. It was a Older lady with blonde hair to give a brief description, after taking our order we had waited for around 17 minutes for 3 sandwiches and when we asked what the hold up was, she got an attitude and raised her tone almost yelling at us after we had politely asked about the wait of our food. Overall terrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a...
