Del Taco — Restaurant in El Centro

I've been enjoying great service and delicious food at economical prices for two months at this Del Taco in the Lowe's Mall on Imperial Ave. Then last night I ran into a new manager who signed her name on my last receipt 'Cynthia'. She claimed not to speak English in order to avoid a conversation, until I then explained in Spanish my complaint. I eat a lot and space my food over a period of two hours as I eat, read & unwind after a hard day's work. For example, last night I ordered 4 quesadillas, then two chicken fiesta tacos, later a strawberry lemonade (recommended), and then two more chicken fiesta tacos. I was still hungry and went to order more after exactly 1.5 hours in the sparsely occupied restaurant. She gave me the bums rush out the door saying that i had been there for 2 hours that exceeded the corporate policy. So I, a doctor driving a 2015 car, drove away. I think she thought I was a bum because this was the first time I had entered with a small knapsack. Or, she was fishing for a tip, for I had tipped $2 to one of the workers, as I always do when someone performs a good service. I suggest you still go to the Del Taco where all the rest of the workers and managers are courteous, except when this one-star manager...

Ordered drive thru, and they had food ready. When I got to the window, I only had $100 bill. My total was about $30. The guy would not take my bill. Said the manager had to check the bill, and there was no manager on duty. Unfortunately, it's my fault. I left my debit card at home and let him know I only have 2 $100 bills and said sorry I can't take it if my manager is not here. I had to leave with no food, and your company lost the food that was prepared, or at least i think so, unless they ended up putting the food back. Ended up with sushi, they took my money! Who runs a business with no manager or someone who can...

And didn't get sour cream wouldn't have been a big thing except being charged $1.50 each for sour cream on the del tacos

My totasda looked like it was dropped

We dined in but gave us our food in bags

Ordered XL fries but got really cold fries

I had got the free del tacos from the app maybe that why they charged $1.50 each for the sour cream
