Good collection of comics, however don't trust the trade paperbacks or hardcovers. Bought a hardcover comic (for full price) and when I got home noticed it was in very rough condition. Called and learned no refunds, but also that they "factor the condition into the price of the comic". In no world should this comic have been sold to anyone at full price. The dust jacket is torn in places and the hardcover is worn through to the inner cardboard. It appears the first page has been ripped out, and near the back the spine is split in a way that the pages get a white line where the spine is visible between them.

I recently visited a store for the first time and was disappointed by the lack of customer service. Upon entering the establishment, I was not greeted by any of the staff members, despite the fact that there were several employees present. The store itself was adequately decorated, but the absence of customer service was a significant drawback. I browsed the store for a while, but no one approached me to offer assistance or answer any questions I might have had. The complete lack of acknowledgment from the staff made for an unpleasant shopping experience.

There's a review left by Steven T. that gave his store a 1 star. I was in there when he came in to complain about the toy and he was the one that was absolutely unacceptable. He berated and cussed the worker and I out. I was just a bystander trying to ease the situation. Yes the worker argued and yelled back, but who wouldn't in that situation? Steven was very hostile and had no problem verbally abusing the worker in front of his son. The store itself is really cool and has a ton of stuff I've never seen before. It's a great shop.

I was on vacation with my family, in the area, and had no idea that this excellent collectibles shop was located here. We were at the space center, left to head back to our hotel and found Lone Star Heroes - WOW ! What a rush…!

I spent a good hour there and made a couple of nice purchases. The owner just happened to be there that day. He was extremely amicable, working with me to make a sizeable purchase happen. His personal touch was definitely appreciated and from my experience, I offer my highest recommendation to all collectors. This chain of stores has a vast supply of what so many of us are looking for. Please do yourself a huge favor and go to one of the three Lone Star Heroes locations.

While on vacation that week, we went to a second store. The stock was actually different! The staff there was equally just as accommodating! Thank you Heroes for the great nostalgia on my...

Went in for the first time the other day about an hour before closing hoping to find some specific issues. This place is great! Lots of cool new comics I havent run across in other shops. Guy running the front was friendly enough, kind of left us to do our thing. Prices are reasonable and they happened to be running a special so it was great timing on our part. My husband found a plethora of stuff he didnt even know he needed ;) I found some back issues in mint condition I definitely needed. All in all a great experience. Havent spent enough time there to determine if its a new go to or not but its looking...
