Top reasons I really liked Longo Toyota:
Pricing is up front and you pay MSRP or work a deal below, no mark ups, no sillyness just straight forward pricing!
Easy methods to communicate with them, I contacted my sales person via phone/text and the process was amazing and simple!
Biggest Toyota dealership in all of the US and easiest process to get a deposit on an allocation and know the exact price up front, see reason #1
So lets talk the sales process and the specific experiences I had which were absolutely stellar! I was able to get in touch originally with my sales person Winser Carrasco when I was shopping around for a Toyota Land Cruiser and Longo had one in stock, but it was already spoken to which was fine. Winser informed me that they had an exact matching Windchill Pearl White coming in with 18" rims (specifically what I was looking for) coming in the next month or so and I could put a deposit down on it. I was excited and quickly went through the deposit process which was fluid, painless and so straight forward. Everything was able to be done over the phone, text and digitally such an easy experience. Winser always went above to keep me informed of the delivery time of my Land Cruiser with providing text updates showing the delivery estimates dates which ultimately took just under a month for it to arrive which was amazing and quick! It was a pleasure to meet Winser in person when I arrived at the dealership and work with him through the whole purchase process, he made me feel welcomed, kept me well informed of everyone and made the process super easy to let me know what to bring with me and made sure I was comfortable with everything that we went through. This was truly the best experience purchasing a vehicle I've ever had in my life, at no time did I feel pressured to buy anything extra that I didn't want and I was able to polite decline options that were offered in a very nice and professional manner. I told Winser up front I wanted to purchase the warranty for my new vehicle and he showed me all options the prices of the different levels in a clear and concise manner and confirmed the few questions I had that everything I was looking for would be covered which was great and also provided information items with the contract agreement once finalized.
The second person I want to give a shout out to is Elise Fong. She works in the finance department and was an absolute pleasure to work with signing and finalizing the purchase contract and other documents. The setup that the dealership uses is absolutely slick with everything being done digitally with docusign where they have a giant tablet setup that you use to go over the contract paperwork and digitally sign everything. Elise was a pleasure to talk to and get to know and was very down to earth which lead to great experience and super quick signing of the contract paperwork and answers all my questions is very clear and concise detail to make sure I was conformable! At the end of signing the contract she not only provided a full copy of the contract on a USB drive, but also provided an email digital copy of everything which was such a neat experience and absolutely the way that signing contracts and working with a dealership should be, quick, simple and painless! The last special touch that Longo Toyota and Winser did was I had always wanted to purchase a car and take some pictures with a holiday red ribbon on the vehical. Winser absolutely was onboard with the idea and set me up with a red robin on my land cruiser and took some pictures that you can see in my review â this absolutely made my whole day and my year end! I am beyond thankful for such a great experience with Longo Toyota, the staff at the dealership is top tier and for my future Toyota purchases Longo will be the place I purchase from, absolutely well worth taking the train up from the SoCal area to purchase and work with them.    Read moreI spoke with a sales person over the phone on Friday 04/04, he was very nice and friendly and helped me out by going over multiple options in order to see what would be best for me to do to be able to trade in my current vehicle and get into a different car. I asked him before hanging up if he was going to be in the next day Saturday 04/05 he said yes that he was in from 11-6pm and I told him I would be trying to go in the next day on Sat but didnât guarantee anything because I live 50 miles out one way trip so I wasnât sure if I would be able to make it. I made time and went into the dealership yesterday on Saturday and when I got there they informed me that the person who helped me over the phone had actually gone home at 4 which was fine I didnât have a problem but I still wanted to see what could be done in order for me to do a trade-in and get into a BZ4X since I had already made the long drive. The sales person who âhelped me outâ is Ruben from the used car department. From the moment I got there he was very unwilling to help us out. He never wanted to run any numbers with us. He told me that I was going to be too negative because they werenât going to give me what I owe but he never decided to try to appraise the vehicle that I had brought to try to trade-in so he never actual saw the car. He asked me what my current payment was for my car and when I told him he said that my new car payment was going to be too high. He asked me if I drove a lot and I told him yes and he proceeded to tell me that it wasnât a good car for me because it takes 36 hours to charge the battery and 12 hours with a fast charger. He kept making it seem like I was making a bad choice by trying to get that vehicle so my husband asked him if there had been a lot of problems with the manufacture and he said no that it just takes a long time to charge so it would not be a good car for me since I drive a lot. He then asked us multiple times if I was sure that was the car that I wanted, my husband told him yes multiple times we let him know that that was the only car we were interested in and yet again he kept only being negative about the car. We asked him if we could test drive it and he told us no because he didnât know if the cars were charged since they had been sitting there for a while. We asked him about a rebate that the vehicle had which I only learned about that car rebate through the previous salesman that I spoke with over the phone. Ruben told me that there was no rebate on the vehicle that I was trying to get and that even if there was, it didnât work the way I thought it would. After insisting multiple times that there was a rebate he finally decided to go ask his manager and his manager informed him that the vehicle did have a rebate and it did in fact work the way I had said it worked. In general Iâm very upset because I was really hoping to be able to make a deal to get into the BZ4X but the sales man was so unwilling to help and it is upsetting that I drove all that way and was not...
Read moreI am very thankful to Longo Toyota, and their staff for making the process of purchasing a new car very efficient and painless.
I went in to purchase a new car recently, and I had already done a lot of homework as far as what I wanted, and what I needed from my new car.
I met with Allen Hon, and shared with him what I was looking for. He was very helpful in locating the car and getting me started with the purchase. Something I really appreciate from Allen was he read that I knew what I wanted and made the sale very efficient for me. He clearly explained the paperwork and requirements for the purchase, and helped me along the way to meet with financing.
The finance team was very easy to work with as well. They were able to process my credit application that same session and overall, I really appreciate Allen, the finance team, and Longo Toyota because while doing homework I was reading numerous horror stories about people being stuck at a dealership for half a day and coming back empty-handed.
At Longo though, I felt my time was respected, and Allen and the rest of the staff were working their best to work with me to get me the car I wanted and get me on my way without too much downtime. I do really appreciate them for that and I plan on returning to purchase my future vehicles from Longo because they're also local to the community I grew up in.
My mother purchased a Corolla from Longo in the early 2000's and she had returned in the late 2010's to purchase a newer Corolla. While I was shopping around, and I was talking to my friends, several of my friends who owned Toyotas also happened to have purchased from Longo Toyota too, so to me it was a no brainer given Longo's reputation among my friends and family for my own first time purchase.
Longo's been great too because they've worked with our local school districts and worked to offer school supplies for our local students too, they've...
