Complaint Regarding Early restroom closure and employee incompetence and lack of customer service
I recently visited the McRae location on March 8, ‘25 and was disappointed to find that the restrooms were closed 1 hour and 15 minutes before the store’s closing time. As someone who recently had surgery, I found this extremely inconvenient and distressing. Furthermore, the unprofessionalism of the employee cleaning the facilities, not only had a rude demeanor but also stated that the restrooms were going to stay closed for the remainder of the night. She then turned her back to us and walked into the restroom with no intention of continuing our conversation, having to go after her to inform her of the medical situation we asked if it would be possible to make an exception considering the circumstances, the employee then made a very displeased face and just pointed to the family restroom. While in the restroom, the employee then placed a large bag of trash against the sanitation cart thus blocking the walkway out of the facilities and had to be moved by us personally in order to pass.
This was my first time shopping at At Home, and the experience left a negative impression. Restrooms are an essential facility for customers, and closing them well before the store’s official closing time can be problematic, especially for individuals with medical needs.
Might I suggest Management to be a bit more thorough on who they hire to engage with their customers as it would be a shame to lose business over employees who aren’t respectful or being unable to be perform simple customer...
Read moreThe manager you have employed by the name of HILDA at the east side location, located on 1120 McRae in El Paso TX Store #120 is extremely rude and unhelpful. I have had to deal with her on various occasions and each time it has been unpleasant to say the least. She always looks mad, is unhelpful to customers and staff, and is rude when customers need assistance. Why would you have someone managing with zero customer service skills and that obviously hates her job? I am a boss perks member and every time there is an issue with the discount she makes faces, rolls her eyes, and apparently has a problem with people getting the discounts they rightfully should get. I had refrained from leaving a bad review but I have had enough of her. I shop here often as an interior designer, and every time I see her I cringe going into your store. Read moreI went here because it was suggested to me, for an item that I was looking for but I could not find anywhere else in town.. upon arriving and entering the store I ran into one of the employees by the name of Melissa and employed her advice and help.. I showed her pictures of what I was working on and explained to her that I think outside the box when building something. Well needless to say this young lady went above and beyond showing me where everything was that might interest me! By the time Melissa and I were done going through the store finding items I needed my cart was full of everything I was looking for!! I was building a custom bar and needed very specific items for the final touches on the finish work and Melissa was outstanding on getting me those things!! As a retired businessman I would have loved to have my entire staff put together with folks like Melissa!! That young lady has outstanding PR qualities that is very hard to teach...
