I was moving 5 miles away from previous home. I have a large picture I have had for over 30 years. It has moved from Coast to coast, city to city and never a scratch. After the 5 mile move, I found the glass had boken terribly!! I immediately called Hobby Lobby on Viscount El Paso Texas, who then patched me through to their framing department. I shared my woes with a very empathetic young ma named James. He invited me to bring her right over, offered to meet me in the parking lot once I was there so he could help me carry her in. He met me at the fron of the store and much to my amazement reframed her right in front of me! He was so careful not to allow the shards of glass to scratch the canvasa and James left her good as new! The experience I had was extraordinary, remarkable and so very POSITIVE! He was so courteous, polite, caring and allowed this old woman to talk and talk about why the picture was so important to me, story behind it and even share stories about my son while James truly made me feel as if he was listening and that what I said mattered! Kudos to Hobby Lobby on Viscount for hiring this amazing young man. He made me feel important. I walked away with a beautiful feeling and my beautiful picture fixed good as new in no time! James even carried her to the register for me and then waited while the line died down so he could carry her out to my car for me. Read moreI loved the store itself &everything inside the store as well from merchandise to price's, unfortunately the one thing I didn't like at all, was the employee's! As a paying customer, I enjoy and take use of the privilege to shop and buy necessary 8tems as well as treating myself to a little extra, especially if it's on sale or the price is right, unfortunately the employee's @this location are very rude. There was a female employee, assistant/mgr the day I went that made me feel uncomfortable and self conscious, another male employee was rude when I asked for an item. He seemed angry @,?me for interrupting his day with my questions. I felt reprimanded by him and belittled. I left the store which I have loved and shopped @for many year's almost in tears. I won't be going back there anytime soon. There was one very happy and cheerful young lady who I came into contact as well. She actually rang me up for the chocolate coins I got last minute, because I remembered it being mentioned to me that chocolate is a mood booster &after dealing with those 2 very rude hobby lobby employee's ..... I can in all honesty say that I won't be going back there to shop anymore. I am always asking for assistance and know Ms. Hilda is always available and willing to help me locate desired items and places orders if item(s) I wish to purchase is/are not at this location. Sometimes I am even embarrassed to take Ms. Hilda’s time. She never fails me. She knows the products and locations of every single item I have ever inquired about. Even if I’m closer to another Hobby Lobby, I prefer to drive the distance to my favorite store on Viscount. Today, as always, Ms. Hilda greeted us with her bright smile.
