Located at 6101 Gateway Blvd W, this Costco has been serving the El Paso community since 2003. As the city’s sole Costco, it attracts a steady flow of shoppers seeking bulk deals, quality products, and the signature Costco experience. ⸻ 🛒 Store Experience Shoppers appreciate the wide selection of groceries, electronics, and household essentials. The Kirkland Signature brand is particularly praised for its quality and value. One frequent visitor noted, “Costco has just about anything you could be looking for… I enjoy going there each and every time I do.” However, some customers have expressed concerns about customer service. One reviewer mentioned, “Most employees have attitude problems… Definitely not for friendly service.” ⸻ 🍕 Food Court The food court remains a popular spot, especially for its $1.50 hot dog and soda combo, a price unchanged since 1985. A reviewer highlighted, “Costco CFO… said that it will always be other parts of the business that are keeping the hot dog’s price in the same place it has been since 1985.” ⸻ 🚗 Additional Services •   Tire Center: Offers tire services with appointments recommended. •   Pharmacy: Provides prescription services; closed on Sundays. •   Gas Station: Known for competitive fuel prices, though it can get busy. ⸻ 🕒 Store Hours •   Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM •   Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM •   Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM ⸻ 📞 Contact Information •   Phone: (915) 774-5203 •   Website: costco.com ⸻ ⭐ Final Thoughts Costco on Gateway Blvd W offers a vast selection of products and services that many El Paso residents find valuable. While the store excels in product variety and pricing, experiences with customer service can vary. If you’re seeking bulk deals and don’t mind navigating occasional crowds, this Costco remains a solid choice.

Edit: July 2023 Costco still doesnt care, people in El Paso still dont care. Your pets stay at home! At this heat, its inhumane to get the pet out and about, let alone in a faux leather carrier. This continues to be the worst costco between California and Austin. Twice they let pets in. Last time all they did was to have the owner put their pet back into its carrier but they were allowed to continued to eat and have their pet sat among everyone else. Today, another one, no Service Animal vest, no tag, no license, a poodle, with back legs dyed to green like its owner. In case you wanna know, the owner has green hair. I don't think anyone with the right mind would turn their actual service animal into looking like a clown. I brought it up to the cashier's attention, she said "maybe that's service animal." You might have been working at Costco since 2014, but you sure don't know the difference between pet and Service Animal. Perhaps fault is not on you, I blame management for improper training. Emotional support animals are not service animals! One is an actual working animal and the other one is a pet with a entitled owner claiming their pet is a working animal. Like I said in many other reviews, I have a dog and other than vet, it has never seen the inside of restaurants or grocery stores. And don't get me start on the people serving hot dogs at this costco, they sweep and not changing gloves just start handling your hot dogs, must be an el paso flavor.

Place is going downhill last 6 months or so. I shop mainly for groceries, and quality is terrible lately. Almost all organic grocery items are replaced by regular ones, and the quality is terrible. Most seem to be sitting unsold/closing in on expiry dates, and I have lost count of things that had to be thrown out (mainly fruits) after getting home. Getting vary about buying fruits here and I can see its already in a vicious cycle where less people buying and fruits sitting in and getting spoiled. Might as well switch to Sam's at this point as that groceries (organic and good quality) were one thing Costco was reliable at. Posting this in hope that things can get better. Pictured is a bag of oranges that I got recently, and yes, they do taste terrible as they look. There is some green (fungus?) growth under the brown spots. To trash they go!

If i could give zero stars, I would. I just had, what I consider, the horrible experience ever here. We had two sections of our purchase, for budgeting reasons(not that it matters). My wife scanned in with her phone, no problem. Then the selfcheckout attendants interrogated me, trying to figure who I was and how I'm related to my wife. They were hell bent on me not being allowed there to pay because I didn't scan the membership card and me not having a membership; which by the way, I waved my Costco Anywhere Visa (exclusive to members.) We had two different workers, with, I wanted to assume, an ability to think (idk about that now), ask me why I was paying for the stuff my wife had scanned. We finished our purchase and paid while they turned around and hudled as they called their manager. As we begin our second scanning, one of the attendants, along with the manager, came to talk to me about a fine print in the contract we signed about who is allowed to pay for the purchase in our party. Let me tell you, this manager lacks any, if not all, people-skills AND any ability to defuse situations. She started of by stating she was going to let it slide this time but wouldn't work next time(I still don't understand what she meant with this.) She did nothing but fan the flames and reiterate that she didn't want to upset us, and she did exactly that. She then told us that we needed a physical membership card to make a purchase, after purchasing with her membership card in the app. The manager saw how angry we were at this point and walked away, and we finished our transaction ,scanning my wife's phone and paying with different cards, with no problems at this point. Also, apparently the app does you no good; we were told you need a physical card any time you go in or they will not let you purchase anything (which in that case, they should not let anybody in without a physical card if they're going to argue with you at checkout.) I'm saying this because her photo was on her phone, same person, clear as day with all her information on it and they then asked us to produce another card for a second transaction (apparently you just have to do it all in one card because they want it that way.)

I've been coming here for 3+ years and never had an issue with anyone, but today they were on one. Do better,...

Costco Wholesale: A Slutty Disappointment Oh honey, let me spill the tea about my recent trip to Costco—it was a total disaster, and not the fun kind! I walked in ready to indulge in some wholesale delights, but what I got was more like a bad date that left me feeling cheap and used. 😩

Ambiance? More Like a Bust The moment I stepped inside, I was hit with the smell of stale pizza and regret. The lighting was so harsh, it felt like I was under interrogation rather than shopping. I expected a glamorous experience, but it was more like a dimly lit bar at 2 AM—definitely not the vibe I was looking for!

Samples? Please! I was ready to sample my way through the aisles like a queen, but the sample stations were a total tease! They had the nerve to run out of everything good before I even got a taste. I mean, who wants to nibble on a sad little piece of cheese when I could be devouring gourmet treats? Talk about a letdown!

Checkout Chaos And don’t even get me started on the checkout line! It was longer than my last relationship, and just as painful. I stood there, watching my dreams of a quick shopping spree fade away as I shuffled forward like a lost puppy. By the time I got to the register, I felt like I’d been through a messy breakup—exhausted and ready to cry.

Quality Control? What’s That? I picked up a few items that looked promising, but when I got home, it was a different story. The produce was wilted, and the frozen meals tasted like they’d been through a bad fling. I expected better from a place that claims to be a wholesale wonderland!

Pricey Regrets Sure, the prices are low, but the quality? Not so much. I left feeling like I’d been duped into a bad romance—cheap thrills that left me feeling empty inside. I’d rather splurge on a fancy dinner than waste my money on this hot mess.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a wild shopping experience, Costco is not the place to be. Save your time and your sanity, darling. There are far better ways to spend your day than getting caught up in this wholesale...

I just moved to Las Cruces and this location is the closest. I Misplaced my broken card and was waiting in line to get a replacement card. The line was very long (not an issue) and the kiddos started to become wiggle worms and the weather was turning. My wife walked around to the front entrance and was told that she would need to wait until I got the replacement card. She explained to him that I was in line to get a replacement card. It was raining and windy it was bad enough the line I was in was out the door and I was out side but to have my family wait outside. I asked her to walk-in and wait just on the inside but the door guard must have forgotten that even if a person could sneak past the inconsistent membership checker that a guest could not make a purchase with out the card. what is the issue? The prices are not a secret they are posted online. he was starting to be little my wife and talk to her like a child. I lost my place in line to step out and tell him I was in line getting a new card. He replied "I don't care" and that he will call the manager to have us escorted out. I told my wife at that point to go on in and go shopping, then turned to him and told him to call management that "I" would love to speak to them while I was waiting to get my new card. To my surprise I never got a visit and I was in line again for 20 more minutes. I was not happy at all, once I got my card and returned to the front the guard to the "Forbidden City" he had left. After finding my family and armed with my new card finished our shopping. The rest of the staff we came across was helpful and professional. When checking out the clerk asked for my card. I could not help but laugh. I will not be renewing my membership for my family. I'm in El Paso almost weekly and would have kept going. good bye Costco I can't be civil to a company that treats us that way. I have called Twice to talk to someone about this issue and it could not be anymore an issue to...
