I visited Target store location about 10 miles from where I live in search for a face wash that only you folks carry. I looked around in the cosmetic section and wasn’t able to find it where these would normally be at. There was an associate available (as its always the case at Target) and she looked at me willing to help immediately. I kindly asked if she could point me to where the moisturizers were. She immediately without hesitation walked me towards the section where these were. I wasn’t able to find the product only a face moisturizer of the same brand, so I went back to look for her and asked her if she knew where the item was. She immediately pulled up the item on a handled and asked me if that was the item I was looking for. She eagerly helped look for it with no success. She mentioned that the handled showed a few available in the back. She then called another associate that was available walking the floor for assistance. The associate later went to the back to grab the product. I advised her that I would be around the cosmetic area. She took off and I continued browsing around, I then left the cosmetic area towards the food. I lost myself in the food section thinking what I needed to get, I completely lost track as I meant to come back to the cosmetic area before she did. Well she found me in the bread section and she had two bottles of the product on her hand, and she talk me in a nice soft tone that she wasn’t sure how many bottles would I be taking so she brought me two. She caught me by surprise I quickly thanked her and continued shopping.
I’ve been a Brand Ambassador for 10 years now, worked for top clients in retail settings and I have never expected this type of service. Now in days who takes the effort to truthfully assist like she did? No one! Some of us are avoiding people as much as possible, which is why I never expected this type of service. She did a superior job at assisting me, from the moment I made eye contact with her. Most CSRs perceive a customer in need of assistance and they just wait in hopes that that I acknowledge they don’t want to be bothered, not her she was eager to assist, she went way above and beyond to look for the product I needed in the back part of the store. Who keeps product in the back?? My god this trip was just amazing!!! I continued towards the registers and there were about 3 open lanes and the self-checkout lane which I didn’t noticed it, I stood in line when I was approached about 3 minutes later by another associate and she kindly asked me If I wanted to switch lanes, she pointed to one and I agreed- this lane had fewer customers in line, a few items only in the register band. I noticed the self-checkout lane opened and decided to switch again, as I proceeded the lane I was authentically greeted by a girl and she told me that if I needed help she was there for assistance. I completed my purchase and left the store waaay satisfied. The girl in the cosmetics did an awesome job! PLEASE let her know of her outstanding customer service. Read moreWhile this store in person is usually my go to in town. The app and it's delivery service is horrible. I placed an order yesterday for delivery between 5-7pm. The app showed it altered delivery from 5pm-6am. It is now 745am and there is no delivery. They put an authorization hold for money on my credit card and the customer service gave a run around. All to notify me that their delivery driver had car issues and kept my merchandise with no compensation for the derilect and misjudgement. I request answers, all the operator can do is say is I'm sorry. They were not going to do anything for me. Even after I advice I'm a paying member for the target circle for free delivery and etc. I had to sit and say I want a refund for the horrible convenience of service. Absolutely unacceptable.
