I am in the area for the military. My schedule is insane & very unpredictable. I have meal prepped before & have success. I have also used other meal prep services & also had success. But both options right now, just don’t work due to my schedule. Queue Evolution Foods. A friend recommended them. So I tried a couple meals. Soooo delicious. Tender meat, lots of rice but it wasn’t dry, sweet sauces. very filling & satisfying. Naturally I ordered more meals for the next week. I am on week 4 now & they are exclusively my lunches now. I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. They are all tasty but high in protein.
But the REAL reason you should try Evolution isn’t because the food is amazing. It’s the service. And it is supporting small. My second week I ordered food, they prepped it & allowed me to pick it up at a satellite location. I hadn’t paid yet but they said they would get back to me. They never did that week. But they didn’t stop me from ordering the next week. Therefore I ordered. But when I did, my order got messed up & I wasn’t able to pick it up. I went in to pick it up & they honored the confirmation, apologized for it & let me on my way. I brought up I hadn’t paid for a couple weeks back. The cashier was so kind & HE apologized (when he had nothing to be sorry for!), he allowed me to pay & gave me a discount. In the end, I was completely squared up with them & got my week’s meals. But it was the kindness, the patience & the willingness to honor orders that just made me so happy.

On my first experience, I went to the location on North Zaragoza and purchased 18 meals which was a total of 136.40, the gentleman at the counter seemed confused and I later found he charged me 146.40 (money was not returned) on my second purchase on 04/17/2022 I again purchased 18 meals for a total of 136.40 and my card was double charged for a a grand total of 272.80, which is absolutely insane! I have not been able to get that money back and it is going on 3 days as of today! I did speak to someone on Monday who stated they would look into it but have not had anyone call me back. Calls were also made on Tuesday and Wednesday and voicemails were left but no one has attempted to assist or contact me at all. I am still fighting for my money back but this has been the worst...
Read moreI placed an order to be picked up Monday, but I had forgotten about Memorial Day which is my fault, I know. So I called, but no answer. Then received a text and I was told they were open and would be open till 6pm. Come 5pm, I drive to the east side location only to find out it’s closed. So I call and the man who answered said it was slow so they closed at 3pm. I asked if I had to cancel my order or if I should just pick up it tomorrow, but the man hung up. It wasn’t a failed called, and he didn’t even attempt to call/text me back. I know it’s a holiday, but that was just rude.
