7/6/23, with the exception of 1 salesperson, male in shoe department, I had a Terrible long wasted time trying to find 1 sales service person: 1). Beauty Supply Dept., there was only 1 person, female working; she was applying cosmetics to a male while having conversations. I waited around the area killing time until she would assist me. After 15-20 minutes waiting looking things around the area, I asked her if she would know if another employee would assist me in Clinique; And, she Rudely Snapped at me, yelling me she wwsa going g to get to me when she had time and cut me off as if I was a piece of trash. I left. I went to another cashier and that employee was navigating her cellphone and she gave me her back like she didn't want to be bothered. I left. On my way out of Macy's I thought maybe the male cashier in shoe dept. may help me. He did help me and he was very eager to help me get a pair of shoes plus he was very courteous and efficient. After I paid I decided to buy a purse, and I went to the gentlemen in the shoe dept. to assist me. He just went to the purse dept. to remove the tag from the purse and I paid him. I told him about no one working to assist for purchases in the Beauty dept and the one applying make up to a customer had been been with the same person about 20 minute s and she was rude when inquiring about someone else helping me purchase cosmetics. Finally, since I didn't received good service from employees, with 1 exception as I explained from shoe dept. I wouldn't return back to buy anything from that Macy's location in Cielo Vista Mall. Those employees behaved so Rude, Inefficient, and Hostile. The employees treated me as if they had any right to Disparage me, refuse a service and as if they were too good to be waiting on me. Bought myself a diamond bracelet for my birthday almost a month ago and employees Elizabeth Garcia and Salvador Nuñez from the Jewelry department from the first floor from the Cielo Vista Macy's were wonderful. They both were very attentive to my shopping needs and helped me choose the jewelry piece that was right for me. They took the time to help me make the best purchase possible. I will be buying my jewelry from here from now on. Definitely recommend as the customer service here is excellent and they have a good, wide selection of fine and beautiful jewelry and they also offer the "worry no more" jewelry protection just to have peace of mind that your jewelry will be taken care of.
