I’ve given this place multiple tries and I don’t think I’ll be returning. I can order the same jewelry online for cheaper but go here for the convenience of it, especially given the size range. The male staff was rude and had I not been watching would have physically pushed me out of the way to assist another customer. Definitely seems like the staff is not knowledge when it comes to piercing jewelry and allergies. I mentioned that I was allergic to metal and had some questions about the titanium and surgical steel as I still have reactions to steel. And instead of informing me of any organic options they may have had or opening a conversation with me they simply told me that nothing would work for me and they don’t recommend I buy anything. Like…say less. I even tried to inform her it wasn’t possible to be allergic to titanium and was going to say plated would be fine as long as it’s titanium but she interrupted me snd simply talked me out of the sale. The sales person talked me out of spending my money and that should tell you all you need to know. The day Spencer’s staff is more helpful than a place with a kiosk in the mall says a lot. Buyer beware. I bought jewelry here and they gave me two different size barbells. When I called they said they wouldn’t do an exchange but I was more than welcome to come and talk to the manager so I went back to the mall to talk to the manager. When I got there the girl didn’t see a problem with what she sold me. The manager agreed that they were different sizes and tried to find a barbell to exchange. He could not find a barbell and told me I could purchase another set for 50% off. I won’t be going back to Rapture. I went to their competitor Savage Piercing and the woman heard my issue as I was looking for the proper barbell. SHE EXCHANGED BOTH BARBELLS I HAD FOR A MATCHING SET FOR FREE. I asked the salesperson for a piercing that would fit my conch piercing, I was given a nice earring but I asked her if she was sure it would fit. She pretended to measure it to my ear and insisted it was perfect. When I took out my current earring I measured it to the new one in the bag and knew there was no way it would fit. When I called to ask if I could exchange it or fix the issue they literally said “too bad there’s nothing we can do” they wouldn’t even give me the name or number of the manager or when he/she would be in.
