El Paso Public Library José Cisneros Cielo Vista Branch — Attraction in El Paso

Mentally ill homeless man came up to me and my young child and asked if I needed care and it was very scary i could even feel comfortable having my kids there at all never went back and never will sadly the library letting people be there I understand they are trying to do good for the community but it endangers our safe spaces as a community im sure they wouldnt take them to their own home and there is other places for them like churches, shelters etc. The library is a place to study and I no longer find this location a safe space for me or my children.I am just trying to bring awareness and you will seem like a bad person if you complain and im sure they wont do much to help either. The staff is what makes this library so nice: they always greet you when you come in, and if you have a question, they find the answer. It isn’t always easy to find a place to sit because the “regulars” have their chair-desks staked out, but I have found the selection of books is good while we wait for our NE library to be renovorated. I love the ease of retuning books outside during off-hours, as it is very hard to find sparking...

If I could give it zero stars I would. The workers were incompetent with their printing system. Making me feel like I did something wrong at the printing station. Making my print job a spectacle amongst 3 workers. After, as I was trying to peruse the books, I could hear the librarians still talking about their faulty printer. (Loudly!) Horrible experience.
