Maytag Store — Local services in El Paso

Pablo was my installer. He called me a little after mid 10. Confirmed drop off and installation of a Maytag set I purchased the day before. Got to my residence in 15 minutes at 11. Saw the area where the set was going went to his truck and prepared the set for me and installed the set in less then 30 minutes. He did a final inspection on it while both washer and dryer was on a cycle. Very professional very informative and very quick about the install. Joe Garcia was salesman. He greeted us on the floor asked us some questions about what type of work myself and my spouse did. How big our family was, what brand we were looking for and how much space we had to work with. Now instead of trying to sell us the most expensive set on the floor Joe gave us the option of different sets all ranging from different prices. He recommended the Maytag set we purchased since it was just myself and my spouse and that it was very simple, very user friendly and very easy to get parts and get it serviced by a technician if anything happens to it in the future. Joe was very friendly very courteous and willing to help guide us in the right direction to get a GOOD SET not the most expensive set, one that is very affordable and worth what we were paying for. Terrible customer service. I set up a service call for a washer cleaning - disassembling of the unit and clean as well as to check on a possible dry power cord short. The technician completely missed his two hour windows. When I called to find out if they were still coming, the operator was really rude and said they do not perform cleaning services. I mentioned that the previous operator that scheduled me, failed to mention that. I asked if the tech would still come out to check the possible short. He mentioned he could schedule me for a later date. So I asked if that meant they would be missing their appointment. He mentioned he didn't have this in his notes and the service call was not for the dryer at all. I mentioned that both services were requested. He continued to dismiss every issue I had and was thrilled when I mentioned I did not want service anymore. Don't waste your time with them.
