Being a current nursing student here is unreal. Excited to start the program and as strict as they are about having to be dedicated to the program and no family life but that doesn't pertain to them personally as INSTRUCTORS. The first 3 semesters where on it Gen Ed. Instructor until the nursing part begins, they are very unorganized, unprofessional, and talk about you behind your back when you bring up concerns calling you a problematic person paying 80k for a program you would only want to receive your monies worth. They do not go by their syllabus for exams, studies or lectures and if they fall behind do to personal matter in their home you have to do it ALL yourself which is 95% of the time. You try to ask questions and it's like pulling teeth to get an answer. It takes 1 week sometimes NEVER for an email response when assignments are due, a 20 chapter exam 1 day before when they had 16 weeks to prepare you changing lectures and chapters last minute. If your a self-learner and dont need guidance this program maybe for you but people who never did nursing ever this is a struggle that you will not get help in from the nursing...
Read moreI have two contradicting experiences with WT. In 2024, I earned my Master of Business degree with flying colors. This department under the direction of Dr. Davis was incredible. I learned a lot from Dr. Mack, Mr. Burciaga, and Ms. Samantha Garcia. The knowledge I gained in this program is quite remarkable. I hope they get the recognition they deserve. On the other hand, after graduating from the MBA program, I wanted to use the rest of my GI bill to obtain my certificate in Medical Billing and Coding to add to my resume. Unfortunately, the program was poorly managed. My concerns as a student were not addressed and the instructors were not approachable and available. I believe the program management could benefit from refreshing. I ended up transferring to another university to continue my education. **Please research schools and look up the reviews before applying. Education is expensive and time is a currency we...
Read moreThis is the worst place to go to school. All they really care about is how much you'll get in student loans and how much you'll be paying them. They teach out of power point presentations. Most instructors are mostly there to baby-sit, they're not helpful. I went a whole term without having an instructor for my Microsoft certification class. The job placement program is nothing more than them directing you to apply st places online. I graduated in 09 and they never really helped me get a job in my field, I had to do it all on my own. I recently requested my official transcripts and even that has been a pain to get done. Going to Western Technical college was by far the worst decision...
