I thought I would give this place try since a friend of mines had their laptop fixed here a few weeks ago. So I called Thursday to see how much it would be to have my sonâs iPad screen fixed. I was told it would be $150 and take a hour. I arrived there just around 5pm. There I was told the price and that it might be done that day or first thing this morning Saturday, because âthe guy who works on IPads had to leave to go downtownâ. Being ok with that, I left it there. Forward to this morning I called to check on it because I havenât received any notifications on the status from them. To my surprise, Iâm told that itâs bent and wasnât turning on. Mind you I took it in there and the only problem was the screen. It was working just fine and was charged. So Iâm trying to understand what happened, but the guy on the phone was being so rude. He wanted to speak and for me to listen yet wouldnât let me speak once he was done. He was being very condescending. So I asked him to be respectful, watch his tone, and let me speak. Unfortunately, that didnât happen and I had to hang the phone up on him and go up there to see what the problem was. Once I arrived, he began to tell me that, if I had let him speak 10 more seconds (laughable), he would have told me that he had a man he would send it to for the motherboard. I asked him wouldnât that cost more money. He tells me that, âhe canât predict the futureâ, but later states the amount it would cost him to send it to the guy and have him check it out and asks me how would he benefit from making more money off me. And then proceeded to continuously be rude. So I began to be rude back. Iâm an adult either you going to be respectful or receive the same disrespect youâre giving me. He didnât like that and told me I can either take it or let him fix it and leave his store. I told him that I wanted the iPad and would go else where. Iâm so upset because the iPad was working just fine. He was so focused on the bend he claims was already there, but still couldnât explain why it wasnât turning anymore. Even though he acknowledged that it was working when they received it. He even says that it couldâve very well been not bent when they got it, but the only thing we should discuss is how itâs going to be fixed. I darn sure wasnât going to pay for extra work to be done when I knew the condition when I brung it there. I will never go this place again! And I do not recommend any one else. Itâs sad because black businesses already deal with so many stereotypes. However, you have businesses such as this one that has little to no professionalism and poor customer service.
Edit: Hissy fit? Please! Youâre you full of yourself! I call there to check on my childâs iPad because no one had email or called me about the status of it since I dropped it off Thursday! You told me it was bent and wasnât turning on anymore. You only tried to call me back once I hung up because you wouldnât even listen to me just like in the store! The only thing that was wrong with it was the screen. It was working just fine. Even you acknowledged that it was working! And said yourself you even if it wasnât bent before you only wanted to discussed how it would be fixed! And my mom in-law wasnât trying to get me to get me to understand anything. She was trying understand what you were saying and you were even rude to her at first saying there wouldnât be a 3rd or 4th argument when she was just trying to see what you were saying. and wasnât trying to argue with you! I admitted to being rude back to you AFTER you were rude to me! Call it what you want you werenât about to be condescending and disrespectful to me when I was just concerned about my childâs iPad that only had a broke screen when I took it in there! Nothing I said in my review above was a lie! If you put as much energy into being professional then you put into trying to trash your potential or already customers you would be alright!    Read moreHORRIBLE. my boyfriend went to get his screen repaired and it was glitching when he got it back. we repeated this process with them 3-4 more times, resulting in the screen being defective everytime. Now when they offered a refund, we accepted. But they replaced the existing screen with a screen that was even more damaged AND charged a âset upâ fee of $35 dollars so we did not get our full refund AND received the phone even more damaged then how we brought it. The set up fee was never brought to our attention but regardless, shouldâve been void since each set up and attempt to repair the screen was unsuccessful. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE!!! The owner was bickering with his employee while i stood there with other customers. ZERO STARS.
TO ADD: the owner then responded very rudely, using God to validate his poor customer service and claiming i am lying when it is HE that added random information that my boyfriend and myself were unaware of. this small company, failed after many attempts of fixing my boyfriends screen and waited until his mother came in to tell her that the phone had more than a damaged screen (to make clear, she did not come in âcryingâ so trying to belittle the approach of someoneâs mother, is VERY low). my boyfriend runs all of his businesses from his phone so thatâs why we refused to leave with a screen that was more damaged then the screen we had came in with! now for the owner to respond with a lengthy message that just repeats how much of a liar i am and how much God dislikes liars and how much hostility is behind is response, just shows what kind of person he is. FYI- for the ONGOING months we spent going back and forth trying to get this screen repaired, them giving us our refund was the least they can do. we didnât even keep the screen, so thatâs another lie from this owner. we returned it after we were able to transfer everything from the old phone to a new one. i hope this establishment does better than blaming its customers/projecting their own lies and guilt and look to GOD for guidance instead of using God to hide from their wrongs.    Read moreWell, at first I thought this was a good place to go but have since changed my mind. I went in with a broken screen and explained that it had been fixed elsewhere but the touch wasn't working. The man was very nice and they took my phone and I left. I was called about an hour or so later and told that I probably had another issue but the screen was working (I would just have to hit the lock button from time to time if it froze up). Theu asked if I wanted to keep the new screen on and I said that's fine because if it's going to work then I'll take the pushing of the lock button from time to time. I came in to get the phone and the young man cleaned it up, paid and I left. After maybe 2 hours, the screen stopped responding completely. I called the next day (today) and only explained what the issue was. I was put on hold until the store owner could come. When he came to the phone, he wanted to argue with me about having talked to me about the phone being iffy. I told him that I only spoke with the young lady and she said that it would work (won't a push of the lock button from time to time). He said no, I had your phone open and what not and I told him no, wrong person. I never asked for a dollar back, just called to see what they could do. He told me that since he told he that it was iffy, he could give me my screen back but he'd have to charge me a $35 fee and refund the rest. I still said nothing but that he didn't say anything to me, only the young guy that was cleaning my screen did and that I took the phone home, based off of what I was told. He then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't know what I did last night but.....I went off. What do you mean? I worked last night. How is it ok to come at a customer like that?
