Poke Bros. — Restaurant in South Carolina

So, I had never been to Poke Bros., but my boyfriend loves the one in Lexington. We were in the Sandhills area, and I finally got around to trying this place. I was super excited ( I frickin looooove sushi) First... the items to choose from at this location are limited. But that's okay, it is what it is, there was plenty enough items for me to make a meal that I liked. BUT... the girl at the front counter was absolutely zero help, acted like I was irritating her the whole time, which I was because she couldn't wait to get back to her cell phone. There was also an older lady in there that cared more about eating her lunch than serving the guests. I don't usually leave bad reviews for businesses.. but I made an exception this time. Why?? Because I work in the restaurant industry as well and there was absolutely no way I would EVER treat my guests that way. I understand how hard it is to find good help these days. But enough is enough with bad service!! Will I go back to poke bros.?? Yes, I will give it another shot. Probably the Lexington location. I'm not sure if Poke Bros. has the same owner at all locations. But if the owner happens to see this, and you DON'T own multiple locations.... keep in mind you need to actually care about who you hire to represent your business. Because I will NEVER EVER EVER patron this location ever again. I work too darn hard for MY money to spend it at a business who acts irritated when I walked in the door. Ordered Taro milk tea. My daughter and I did not like it, asked for a refund the lady said no we do not give refunds because everyone else likes it. I told her well I’m sorry I’m not everyone else it does not taste like what I’m used to. We only took one sip and my daughter spit hers out. She remade us new ones, and they still tasted the same. She refused to give us a refund. Not one sign that says all sales final or anything. I was not rude about it. I told her that’s fine, I will just dispute it with my bank. Luckily I paid with my card and tossed the 4 drinks in the trash in front of her. I wouldn’t be writing this review if she would have just honored the refund. She was very rude about it. One of the guys told her “it’s probably because we make it with green tea” many places don’t make a taro milk tea...

MY WIFE AND I WERE DRIVING AROUND LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO EAT WHEN SHE RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE. I MUST ADMIT THAT INITIALLY I WAS VERY RELUCTANT BUT AFTER LOOKING AT THE REVIEWS ( which were ALL very high reviews), I DECIDED TO TRY IT AND OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYY GAAAAAAAAAWD!!!!!! HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST, FRESHEST “POKE STYLE” EATERY I’VE EVER HAD, EVEN BETTER THAN SOME OF THE AMAZING POKE RESTAURANT’S THAT I EXPERIENCED WHILE LIVING IN VEGAS WHICH IN SOME CASES ARE WORLD RENOWNED!!
