Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in South Carolina

Absolutely ridiculous. I went on the evening of March 17th and will never go back. Upon arriving the line was at the door. Which I was like well thats either means the ice cream is good or there is an issue. Got in line and stood there for almost 30 minutes before leaving to go to Brewsters where I was able to get my ice cream and leave all within 10 minutes. They only had two girls behind the counter that were taking orders and also checking people out at the registers. They had gloves on and were not changing gloves in between touching the register, handling money, and making people's orders. Then there was a guy that was in the back that came out a few times where he just talked to the girls. On one occasion he did operate the register and make someone's order however, he did not have gloves on at all while preparing the item. Absolute gross and the wait was ridiculous. At no point in time were we greeted when we walked in nor was anything said when we turned to walk out. For my initial visit this was horrible and definitely don't have to worry about me coming back...

I don’t know what’s going on with this place, but two female staff members on Saturday had an attitude and were rude. One shoved past me while I had my baby’s diaper bag on my back while I was clearly with my family in line ordering my niece’s ice cream with only tight space to maneuver. The other female staff was behind the counter asking me questions and fixing my sundae with an attitude. The only reason why it wasn’t that bad of an experience was the young male staff that was rushing, but was still nice to my family and I. Plus, my sundae still came out amazing. I came in there with all smiles and a good attitude because that is what this place is known for. I have visited this marble slabs ever since Sandhills first opened back in the early 2000s. This location is awful! We drove all the way over to this location as it shows they close at 9:30 p.m., which means the doors should not lock until 9:30 p.m. When we arrived which was still well before this time, the doors were locked, the employees looked right at us, turned their heads, and walked away. We tried calling them when we returned to our car and watched a young lady walk from the back look at the phone and then put it down and walk away. We have tried calling them again during the day but, the phone goes straight to voicemail. There is no way to report to a manager because no one will pick the phone up. It appears to be just some teens working there at night and no responsible adult supervising. I would say just go to Brusters Ice Cream they are right there in Sandhills as well and, offer a...
