I went to Reed's Jewelers in Sandhills for my first time to potentially purchase jewelry & also trade in some diamond jewelry that I already purchased from another jeweler.. I have been to many jewelers in the past and had always been treated with utmost respect and professionalism. This approach made me willing and comfortable to purchase something that is a luxury, not a necessity. My visit to Reeds was not this way. It took about 10 minutes for an associate to even say hello to me although I stood at the front counter clearly ready to speak to someone for assistance. I stood in front of 3-4 associates and none of them had the courtesy to say hello. They noticed my presence yet continued to have personal conversations and ignore me. I have worked as a manager with customer service/sales positions for 12 years and one of the most important training lessons that are taught is to make the customer feel important and quickly welcomed in a timely manner even if it is just to say, "It will be just a moment", as the quality of customer service can make the difference between closing a sale or losing that customer forever. When I was finally addressed, the associate was condescending and rude toward me. I quickly left and decided I would never purchase anything from Reeds, nor will I recommend any friends and family. If I was treated this way before I would even make a purchase, I can imagine they would be careless to your personal needs and concerns when making a big purchase, which normally tend to be important occasions in one's life. Don't taint your experience for lack of professionalism. My quick and short experience left me angry and irritated that a customer can be treated with disrespect. I refuse to give my hard earned money where I am treated unfairly. I cannot say that this experience exemplifies Reeds as a whole, however, the associates gave me a pretty bad impression. I will not return. I suggest some customer service training as this is not a way to earn business or treat people. Save yourself a disappointing trip and your hard earned money and take your...

Read more:) This store and the staff are simply amazing. Both my wife and myself have shopped and had custom work done in this store since it opened and never been disappointed.
Joey the manager along with his staff, Bess and Kelly, not forgetting the others of course, make every effort to make you feel welcome and at home without any high pressure tactics. Something that many other stores should pay attention to and learn from.
Fred, the jewelry technical expert has custom made a gold bracelet connector and clasp for my wife based on her drawings. Super workmanship, high quality , hand crafted in house. You cannot beat that anywhere.
Recently they sent my wife's Rolex away for a complete overhaul and service, again, great communication about the issues and how to resolve them. The watch was returned to us looking as good if not better than a brand new one.
I highly recommend this store and staff, we certainly don't intend to shop anywhere else as long as they are open. Congratulations to all of the staff.
They used to carry Rolex but the line was moved to another branch sadly, they deserve to either get Rolex back or at least another high end brand name such as, Brietling, Omega, Tudor or Bremont.
Thank you Joey and your most wonderful staff your a credit to the...
