I am a first time customer of Aarons. I'm a woman in her 50s, I have very good credit, I'm not somebody just trying to get out of payments. Infact, I still do not even owe you anything at this point in time. Anyways, to start things off, there were 2 men that delivered the fridge to my home. When they arrived, the old fridge was being taken out of the home. The dolly we were using had broken so we asked your employee (driver of delivery truck) could he please help us get the old fridge out. It was only me and my daughter, she was taking the front door of the hinges and I was holding the door up. The removal company's employees were trapped, one between the door and the fridge and one between the broken dolly and the fridge and the ground.Your driver looked at my daughter, and said " I guess so" . Please keep in mind they couldn't even get the new one in, until we moved the old one out of the way at the very least. A few minutes later we had the fridge inside and the old one outside, my daughter needed a screwdriver we didn't have, to put the handle on the new freezer drawer on the correct way because they had put it on upside down. He acted like it was a HUGE deal, to walk out to his truck and help my daughter fix what he did not put on properly to begin with. The other man with him that day was pleasant , and very helpful. The driver of the truck is who I had the issues with. There was no "bye" or "have a nice day". They literally came and went. We still had parts to the fridge that we needed to put on after they left. My daughter convinced me not to call that evening. The girl working inside the store that day when I went to look at the fridge was brand new, and i was inside the store over 2.5 hours.. Then this happens with delivery. Even after all that, I listened to my kid, and decided everyone has bad days, just let it go. A week or so later, I come home to find my daughter chipping layers of ICE ( i have photos ) off of our food in the freezer. Ice cream, my grandsons snacks, a lot had to be thrown out because of freezer burn. The recommended setting is -2, which is what it was on, so i put it to 0. waited a day or so, nothing happened, put it to 1, and within an hour or less, everything was thawing out and puddling in the bottom of the freezer. I called the store, Michelle ( same girl from before, glad she made it!! :) ) answered, I explained what was going on, she sounded sincerely sorry about what was going on and made me an appointment for Monday Evening. A time could not be given to me, but I was told that someone would call when they were on the way. I had to call off work because of not knowing when someone would be there to look at it - no big deal really, just get it fixed, ya know? until 5, 6, 7 then 8 and 9 P.M. rolled around. No one called me, no one came by, no one even sent me a simple text with " we won't be making it today " nothing at all. I had to call the next day, once again Michelle on the phone. She couldn't give me any reason at all why no one came " it must've been overlooked" and " we didn't even realize no one came out there " . Well I realized it when i was missing my shift, losing money, at home waiting for someone who never came. So now someone isn't coming out to look at it until FRIDAY.... SERIOUSLY ?! I need a manager or supervisor to call me or email me immediately. And I do not want to talk to anyone at that store, I have done so already and they CLEARLY are not trained to deal with this kind of situation. by the way I have been taking photos of the frozen freezer drawer/food. UPDATE: Got an email from their customer support team that says if I " don't have a response in 3 business days, please call this 1800 # "  Three business days would set us out to Monday, which is a holiday, so they want me to actually wait until Tuesday, six days from now , to see if the manager even calls me. But not to worry! If he doesn't call me, I can always call the 1800# back, and put ANOTHER...
   Read moreI am renting through them. Have had issues with the store in Elizabethton TN sense I have been.a customer. I got a pre used stove from them got told by there sales lady that it was looked over and everything worked and it may look rough but they don't take things back if they had cockroaches or anything. Well needless to say I had to get it home in my own vehicle and when I did get it home it did not work. Called the store back up explained to them my issue of the oven light staying on the cool top not working and I get told by the manager that it was my electrical that was messed up. But they would I felt ment when he said we will have someone check it out check your electrical out and let you use a loaner they would bring if it was on them. Well it was and ithe stove I got was gone for a while when it came back in 2 weeks before I got a call to even tell me they had it back for a while I could come get it. So again I had to load up there loaner in my personal vehicle go get my stove that sent out to be fixed. Get it home and I see a note from the service people telling me it was infested with cockroaches and they didn't know how long it would keep working with an infestation like that. I called the store talked to a sales person and explained I was upset due to being told they don't take stuff back that is like that. Has to treat my house for cockroaches as a precaution from the stove I had gotten from them. Well now I had to have my lawn mower served due to the mower deck mount breaking I sent it out end of July they gave me a junk loaner that the tire is or has a leak seat all ripped up and the deck having rope towing it up to cut grass and it cuts uneven. Brian the store manager got very rude with me when I called to keep finding out where my lawn mower is and he said well we gave you a loaner to use that's how it works. But rudely tells me he will call and find out where my lawn mower is at because they switched companies they used after mine was sent out and now I never got or get a phone call back from the manager Brian to tell me if he found any thing out. Will never due business with Arron's again as far as I can see they are scammers just trying to get your money and don't care about there customers.    Read moreI’m giving this a one star. But this one star is NOT directed to the delivery/ service drivers. We paid my fridge off a little bit less than two weeks ago. It started acting up and not staying cold so I called the store to see if they could fix it or if it was still under warranty.. I talked to David when I called and he said yes we will send them out to get it and send them with a loaner. ( let me express I did not ask for them to send a loaner he had said it first so I aggreed that would be great) I have a 1 year old who drinks milk like crazy and I was expecting a loaner to at least be able to put a gallon of milk in. Fast forward to today. The delivery/service guys came and said they didn’t send them with a loaner or that they were told to take it with them.. I was so mad because I had unplugged the fridge got it cleaned out etc. they looked at it and said to try cleaning the filter etc I said okay thank you so much. I immediately called the store when they left and I was told “ I don’t know why David said that about the loaner but we can definitely take it in to service it the 60 day after pay off is a courtesy it’s not under warranty I’ll call them and send them back to get it to take it to be serviced” they came back and got it. I am PISSED at the store it’s self not the guys who came out. I was promised one thing then told another thing by the GM. Lack of communication at this store is awful and now I am going to have to go lord who knows how long without a fridge for food for my two children!! Get it together Aaron’s!
