Hobby Station — Local services in Elizabethtown

I've been here many times. Each time I've come I said I would not come here again but ended up coming because I needed something last second and this is close to me. Usually each time I went to other stores and they didn't have what I need. This store was about a fifth fifth stocked each time I came in and their selection to begin with is very very miniscule. Anytime I call on the phone the guy is rude. Anytime I've walked in there's no type of greeting or asking if you need help, even if you've been there for a few minutes longer looking over things. When I walked out it was the same. Trust me I won't forget about this place after this last time. The only way I could see myself ever buying anything from the store as if I had a project to do for somebody and this was the last place on Earth to get anything and it will cost me hundreds of dollars. I could see myself buying something from here if that was the case. I don't try to judge places on their past reviews just in case people were just rude, but this guy is definitely earned all of his one star reviews. Maybe I should pay attention more when I see a bunch of one...

Customer service is horrible. First, he gives you a receipt that’s written on a restaurant “Guest Check” form. No actual receipt that has his business name on it. Impossible to get your product warranty registered because of the lack of professionalism. DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING! He writes on the receipt that “ All sales final “ Buy your model trains from a reputable dealer and not this rats nest of a hobby shop. I really hate to leave a mediocre review, but this place used to be great. My most recent visit in Feb '24 was very disappointing. They used to carry all sorts of RC trucks, planes and cars and now they mostly have collectibles. They had one RC truck -- one! Not to mention that it is very difficult to find them open, even during posted business hours. I have great memories of this place before they swapped locations and I would love if they reclaimed some of that...
