Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Elizabethtown

This location is conveniently located next to a lot of hotspot shopping options. I have come to this location more during the holiday season and everything looks well stocked. The store does seem a little messy at times, but I think that is normal for discounted retailers.

The parking at this location can be a little hectic. As mentioned above, they have a lot of hotspot shopping options, and they share a parking lot with those stores. Normally, that is not a problem, but if you are out during the holiday shopping season, you may find it a bit overwhelming.

While shopping here, I have noticed that the line for the registers builds up so fast, all at once! I am not sure what the science is behind this, but they normally will have 1 – 2 registers opened at a time, so your wait can be a bit lengthy. I have also noticed that the registers seem a bit cluttered when I am purchasing my items.

The merchandise is usually sized correctly on the racks, so it is easy to find the correct size of an item you want. I do find that they have a great variety of clothing and are sorted well with the options they provide. Overall, my experience was okay with this location, but it does not stand out to me when thinking “customer service”.

I went here awhile ago, and this young lady was visibly following me around. I was talking photos for outfit inspo for an upcoming event. She seemed visibly annoyed by this, and I tried my best to ignore her. I picked up some clothes to try on. I had FOUR items. She asked me how many I had. I told her four. She said she would have to count it. I told her, sure and started to hand her the hooks. She stopped me and said “no, you need to give them to me one by one.” I said ok. And started handing them to her. One. By. One. She counts out loud: “one…two…threeee…f o u r…hmmm…is that it?” I told her yes. I tried on the clothes. The fitting room was dirty. I came out of the fitting room and I didn’t see her anywhere, so I just put the one item I didn’t want back on the rack that sits in the fitting room. She came out of nowhere huffing and puffing and giving me the side eye. Don’t know what kind of day this chick was having, but hopefully it ended with her...

Employee and manager, both girls, both wore glasses, manager has dirty, blonde hair, employee has mid-length dark brown/black hair - BOTH need an attitude adjustment. Incredibly disrespectful! Would not listen to anything I had to say, spoke over me and were both so rude. After speaking with the male supervisor, he stated he would take care of the issue but after having more than one of his employees be so rude to a customer, I don’t have a lot of faith that anything will change. Absolutely ridiculous! A suggestion would be to retrain your employees in the area of customer service.
