On March 8th I sent an email to the website for this location and since I Have not received any feedback I'll post it here. At approximately 8.44pm on march 8th we placed an order on door dash for pick up. We ordered a 6 pack of cookies. We gave about 15 minutes as the estimated time was 9:02pm. My husband went in to pick up at 8:57 just to be in there and ready, while I waited in the car with our two kids. He waited another 10 minutes or so as many people came in ordered at the kiosk and left with their cookies. Meanwhile we were still waiting, its about 9:14 at this point and one of my kids needed to use the restroom and my other needed her inhaler. My husband asked one of the ladies in there was their a certain protocol for door dash. He was told and I quote " door dash orders go to the end". He over heard another lady say she wasn't filling that order. Supposedly many orders came in, were they busy sure, but many people were heading to the kiosk to order so we know they weren't pre-ordered. My kids even commented on how are all these people getting their cookies before us. I ended up going in the store it's after 9 30 at this point my kid really needed to pee and I wanted to know why 6 cookies have not been made. We left picked up another order we placed, my husband took our kid to the bathroom and we drove back to crumble after everyone had left its almost (10pm) to Confronted the staff as to why we didn't get our cookies. Then we were told again that it was busy and then a young man says we were supposed to mark here when we arrived. Mind you my husband asked that and no one told him and the young man claimed he was there but was not. There were two older ladies and one young lady present during that rush. Then they pulled out our cookies and said and I quote " we went to give you your cookies but you left". We said yes we left it was unfair and took entirely too long and our kid had to use the bathroom. But my question is if we had to press the 'im here' button why on earth were the cookies conveniently ready when we returned? We have always had great experiences at crumbles and the Elizabethtown location WAS our favorite, we have seen them extremely busy line out the door and never treated this way. Those employees, particularly the two in the front on March 8th ought to be ashamed of their selves. Not faulting the ones in the back making cookies in keeping up with demand. Hope you can do better because that wasn't right and they knew it! Especially when I mentioned we had children waiting in the car but my husband didn't deserve to be treated that way. I'm sure you have cameras you can play that evening back March 8th between...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting here as they’ve just opened and it was great. It smelled so good, the staff was friendly and inviting, and it was very clean . I love the little display of cookies they have on the checkout desk that show what they’re having for the week, they are served to you exactly the way that they look on display. The best part is that they come served warm(minus that ones that they say are served chilled for ingredient purposes.)My favorite so far is the snickerdoodle. The cookies are hugeeee. I thought they were regular sized ….well worth the$ 4 dollars and some change individually. They’re soft ,thick and chewy even after they sit for a while . I so can’t wait to try more ! The Strawberry one tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie ,but with fresh strawberry icing on top. The icing is light, but pretty sweet (still pretty good ). The snickerdoodle is perfect. I can taste the butter, cinnamon , sugar , milk just an awesome medley. The chocolate chip is okay ,the batter isn’t very sweet in my opinion and has a different type of chocolate chip taste than what I’m use to, but it’s not bad. You may love it more if you don’t like a real sweet cookie. To me that one is better once it’s not warm. Those are the ones I’ve tried thus far and no crumb was left behind (minus the one I’m trying to save parts of because I want the moment to last forever 😆 ) . It’s a great experience, go see...
Read morei really like this place. they’re open late which is really awesome. my only complaint and cause for minus a star (if i could do -.5 a star i would but google won’t let me) is the fact that all the other locations around us have hometown picks. i’ve never really seen this location do a hometown pick before and i really would love to see that. i’d go to the other locations but they’re well over an hour away from me. i already travel 45 minutes as is to go to this specific location, or have my husband pick it up on his way home from work. i just think it would be really nice to have some other options that are site specific every once in a while, because a lot of weeks are skip weeks for me. but if i saw elizabethtown offering something good that isnt on the nation wide menu, id drive 45 minutes for it without question. otherwise, id give this place a 5/5 for everything because i’ve never had a single issue with any of my orders.
elizabethtown, please just consider doing hometown picks every so often, even if it’s once every two months...
