This restaurant completely blew me away with such amazing service, everyone is so welcoming 🙏. The restaurant location through me off a bit but boy was I impressed- WoW 😁 I was surprised with such a fantastic experience. We booked our daughter's engagement 💍 dinner here a couple weeks ago and both sides of the family experienced this restaurant for the first time. My wife's brother mentioned this restaurant shared some details and the dinner was booked. We arrived to the restaurant and everyone was attentive, and took such good care of us. Okay, now for the FOOD. I'm a eater and OMG 😲 The steak Fajitas are AMAZING, best steak I've had in a Fajita dinner in a while. Loved the way it was cooked. Seasoned and served. The meet wasn't drenched and wet like a typical Fajitas this my friends was an experience and I almost ordered an entire 2nd plate for my self. The rice and black beans are cooked to perfection 👌 and not water down like a soup. Seasoned really well. Both sides of the family raved about the service and food. The empanadas, the street style esquites, and tacos dorados are served with a pretty presentation and cooked to perfection. The chicken enchiladas were great and can't wait to return to Sayulita this week. The dessert chocoflan was amazing and thank goodness it did not come with a chocolate swirl. Some restaurants serve it with chocolate but to me chocolate over takes the flavor of a flan. The flan syrup and tiny pineapples 🍍 on the flan was a perfect match. The margaritas are served in a fish bowl glass and are prepared to perfection 👌 on the rocks.
#1 Tamarindo Ancho Chile #2 Spicy Pepino Cilantro. Try it! #3 Smoked Pineapple 🍍 #4 Mango Con Chile
Those are the four we tried and my wife and I loved them between the engagement 💍 dinner two weeks ago and last night we were back for dinner.
Excellent food, excellent service and a great time.
Lastly, while I sat at the bar customers as they left would stop by and thank the owner, bartenders and staff for such great service and great food.
This is well worth your TIME & your Money.
See you soon Sayulita. We will be back in a few days...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for the first time this week as we’ve heard lots of good things. Our initial concern was the menu seemed a little smaller than some places we’ve been (for example, they only have a single style of burrito and you just pick your meat). Also it seemed a bit higher prices than most taco places I’ve been to (for example, tacos were $5-$6 each, when I’m used to seeing $2.75-3.50). Let me tell you it is SOOO worth it! The quality of the food alone is definitely worth a little extra, but they did a fantastic job with everything we had. The environment is great, the service was great, and let me say again…The food was phenomenal. I tried three types of tacos: pork, chicken and steak. Usually places get one or two kinds right but I didn’t have a single taco that didn’t make me say “YUM!”
And very telling of how much I liked the food, I went back for a pickup order just a couple days later! Though I really liked each of the tacos I tried the first time, they make the best steak taco I’ve ever had so that’s what I got for pickup. I was even impressed with my carryout! The food was just as fantastic as the first time I went, and they provided rice, beans AND chips/salsa which I wasn’t expecting.
I know everyone’s got different tastes when it comes to foods but this is...
Read moreWe went on a Friday night and had reservations at 7 pm.
No one was stationed at the hostess stand, and it took about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were there. Took about another 10 minutes to get a table after they acknowledged we were there. I think having someone at the hostess stand goes a long way to just let customers know that their arrival has been acknowledged.
The place was packed and obviously understaffed.
The steak taco appeared to be hastily made as the steak was not cut into smaller pieces as it typically is at most Mexican restaurants. The pieces of steak were large chunks. I ended up not eating the taco, and there were no questions asked by the server if anything was wrong when they removed my plate with the uneaten taco.
However, my wife enjoyed her tacos.
The drinks we ordered were tasty.
The server was friendly. However, the wait at the end to get the check and then for them to take payment was way too long.
Overall, in our opinion, it is an average Mexican restaurant and nothing special. We try to support small businesses, but unfortunately, they have some areas to...
