Sally Beauty — Local services in Elk River

I normally don’t shop and this store. And won’t be back. I’ll make the drive out to St. Cloud when I need something. When I walked in there was two girls sitting in the back talking. Never once said anything to me. There was also a girl stocking the shelves with her hood up. As I’m looking at hair dye. A man walks in and the girls acknowledge him and he goes to the back with them. They’re all taking. I had found what I had needed, and went ti the front. It took over 5 minutes for someone to finally come up to the front and check me out. there was one other person in the store so they were not busy at all. They were too concerned about taking with themselves and looking at their phones. As I was walking out, one of the girls from the back walks out with the man that had walked in earlier and she goes “you have a customer to check out” to the girl that was trying ti stock the shelves. and then walks away. Doesn’t say anything...

The employees are more concerned with talking to each other or playing on their phones than anything else in the store. There was product all over not on shelves but the girls sat on the floor talking the whole time to each other. What happened to teaching these young adults some work ethic? I am seriously concerned for the future of our world because this is seeming to be the norm everywhere. I walked around the store multiple times back and forth from the products I was debating about getting and not once did either of them ask if I needed help. I have a feeling the owners of the store will be facing significant drops In profit along with a lot of product...

Nice clean store. Staff that has been working the last 2 times I’ve gone there have been very unfriendly or at least appear unapproachable. Being a professional who specializes in hair color, I rarely come in here unless I’m buying brushes, etc. however I find it very disheartening that people are constantly given bad advice for color. I’ve worked at a Sally’s (not this location) and even had one of the other employees at that location who was a licensed cosmetologist give bad color advice. If you don’t know what you are talking about when it comes to color please just tell your customer that. Other than that this...
