Walgreens — Local services in Elkhart

Third month in a row that I have received txt message via walgreens App that prescription's are ready for pick up. I get there and they have Not been filled. This last incident was today 10-20-2020. I received txts on 10-8-20 that they were " ready for pick up". Another txt on 10-10-2020 " ready for pick up ". I have to drive from Goshen to Elkhart to get these on my lunch hour, what an absolute waste of time and gas !!! The very nice lady at the window says I need to call first and check to see if they are ready before I come. It has been 12 days since the " ready for pick up " txt , HOW CAN THEY NOT BE FILLED ...??? What is the point of the App if I need to call ahead , and why does it say it's ready if it's not..... I don't understand .....

Update to this post. I was angry the day I posted this review, and I was rather harsh, honest but harsh. I must apologize for that ! Since the posting of this review Walgreens has changed the way the App works and the information is now accurate regarding prescriptions and their true status. GREAT JOB...

I currently lost my job just 2 weeks ago and had no insurance. I had a bunch of rx I desperately needed to get filled and already spent $100 at the clinic. My health suddenly took a left turn and I knew I was going to have to pay an arm and leg to get my health back on the right track. I explained my situation to the nicest pharmacy tech I met in a long time. She said I can use this app Goodrx to get some discounts on my phone.. It was super easy to use. Well she did all the work LOL and was really patient even tho they were starting to get busier. I never knew at the end of the transaction she saved me $180!!! I ended up paying out of pocket only $88 for 4 different rx the most expensive was one for $136! I didn't catch her name but I highly recommend getting your rx filled there because they find the best prices esp for someone with no insurance....

I had sent pictures to this walgreens. And they had lost them. Mind you i sent these pictures in april 2016 and its now october 2016. I have since used this walgreen to get my pictures since april. Picked up numerous times. Today i call them to see if my pictures i sent this morning were ready and they tell me i have an order from back in april i never picked up and if i dont start picking up my photos that i cannot use them again. First off, the lady i spoke to hung up on me twice. Second, she spoke to me in a very rude manner. And thirdly it is NOT my fault they lost my pictures. After i pick up this last order of pictures i will NOT be using that...
