Brand new restaurant! Service is very good and had great energy! You have basically everything you would want from a Mexican restaurant and it is quite authentic. The tacos are delicious, and so are the sopes. Horchata is good and the coffee is exceptional. According to the menu, they have tamales by the dozen and menudo on the weekends! I had a burrito lonche and while the rice and beans were extremely delicious, i didnt like the burrito much, idk why it didn't taste as delicious as the tacos and sopes did, but, just not my cup of tea. I really want to come back and try the tortas and other burritos tho!! Omg the cheesecake and I recommend the churros con nieve so much, they are delicious! Hot churros with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup - a dream. The owner and the waitress were very nice and had great energy. My coworkers and I visit El Fogon nearly every Friday for lunch for the best Mexican food around. Yes the food is to die for and will always leave you feeling happily satisfied, but it's also really the staff that makes this little restaurant such a gem. I believe in total they have 5 people who work there so you move from acquaintances to friends super fast. The restaurant is always clean and the wait time is never too long. First impression might be to question the size of the parking lot and maybe the inside of the building, but I think the size is what really allows them to maintain such a personal touch. It's beautifully decorated with a seasonal tree that they're always redecorating for the current holiday. A must try if you haven't!...

The food here was amazing! I'm from Texas and have been disappointed by every restaurant in Indiana, until today. They had delicious& flavorful food, this will be my go to restaurant every time I drive through Indiana. There was only 1 waitress and she had a lot of tables but she still managed to take care of everyone in a timely manner, she was really good! The food was ready pretty quick even though it was busy.
