Woodlawn Nature Center — Attraction in Elkhart

So many cool animals to see, displays to check out, and pelts to feel. My girls were enamored with being able to see and feel so many different kinds of animal fur. They enjoyed the rock display, the dinosaurs, and shells. They had fun with the puppet theater too. Their favorite part, though, was checking out and identifying all of the taxidermied animals and pelts, and then hiking around the trails. For only $10 for the whole family, it was worth it, and we'll definitely come back to check...

So much to look at and plenty of activities to do. It resembles an interactive museum more so than a nature center. Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is definitely worth taking younger children to. The dinosaur excavation exhibit was Amazing! Your children will love...
