
There was a counter guy that was rude to me. His name is will, we were talking about the fact that I always have to wait for the Spray Tan and his response was this place is for tanning beds and we put the spray Tan in to keep up with other salons. In other words the Spray Tan is a nuisance for the store. I could not believe that he was so emphatic in the way he was telling me about The Uselessness of the Spray Tan Booth , he says that's the way it is you sometimes have to wait. When I just told him that 95% of the time I have to wait, and I explained that people do schedule their day. His remarks were that I did not have any patience . The fact is there is many people that use the Spray Tan!! I decided to stop my monthly plan and told him to tell Kelly to call me when they have 2-Booths. I have been there many times when 3-4 people were waiting for the Spray Tan and the Tanning beds were empty or maybe 1-person was in a Tanning bed. Before I left i let him know that he needed to be nice to the customers and I semi forgave him. On the Good side Everyone else that works there is Smiling, friendly and helpful. I really want to be able to go to X-Treme tan because it's closer to my house and SHINE is farther away, but that is wher I will go until they get another...
Read moreThis is My Favorite Tanning Salon in St. Louis. Clean Tanning Beds and Salon & they Change the Bulbs accordingly. The reason I Keep Coming back is that the Staff are very Knowledgeable , Respectful and ecspecially FRIENDLY!!! I have tried other SALONS and am shocked at the way they Treat Clients. P.B. took TANNING sessions away and said they Expired, and even though i Paid for my Tans the employees would Tell me How long i could tan. Keep in mind i have worked in Salons and i am far from a Younger adult.. i was under the impression i Pay for Service, i get what i pay for.Really... My favorite is Tan Co.. I heard good and bad things about them. The Good was No where to be found. Hostile Manager, The 4 times I was there I tried 4 different Beds and all 4 had Bulbs out and I would bring wipes and and clean the Bed Again. I won't go into the way I was Treated, Lets just say The Manager should work in a Prison. Her Customer Service was the WORST I have ever Experienced . Just wanted to Share all 3 stories to possibly help a Tanner make a really good decision . I give Tan Co. Minus stars, P.B. no stars, and Extreme Tan Stars off the Charts!!! Read moreThe package I purchased was for the highest level bed for $140 for 10 visits. Bed 4 has been out of commission for a while, the several bed 3’s (the lower level beds) either their shoulder bulbs or face bulbs are usually out or malfunctioning. If I am paying for a higher level bed then I would expect the establishment to offer compensation for not meeting the standards of the package I purchased. The quality of this establishment has gone down hill in my personal opinion. The front staff are either chatting with their friends or it smells like weed. If you let the front desk know about the bulbs, they clean the bed and let the next customer right on in without letting them know that either the face bulb is out or the shoulder bulbs do not work. Run from this place!
