Went a week ago and need to get this out of my head since I’ve never been so uncomfortable getting ice cream my entire life….Let’s start off with the workers were very nice and it about ends there. There is a reason Andy’s has 100 people eating ice cream (which we went to afterwards since two small molecules of gelato for $20 didn’t satisfy us) and this place has 3 people at most. If you don’t hold your nose super high in the air when you walk then this is definitely not the place for you.
My husband and I visited Tre Cuori for the first time in search of high-quality gelato and authentic açaí—and that’s exactly what we found. If you visit Tre Cuori, expect to enjoy true gelato—not ice cream.
I enjoyed a delightful combination of guava cheesecake, passion fruit, and fior di latte gelato, while my husband ordered an açaí bowl with three toppings. Everything tasted amazing. Coming from Venezuela, where guavas, passion fruits, and other tropical fruits are staples, we can confidently say that Tre Cuori does an excellent job transforming these flavors into gelato. As for the açaí, my husband said it’s the best he’s had in STL so far.
Since we loved everything so much, we also ordered two espressos and two brigadeiros (a traditional Brazilian dessert similar to a truffle). Both the coffee and the brigadeiros exceeded our expectations.
The customer service was exceptional. Pedro was friendly, patient, and thoroughly walked us through the menu. His hospitality made the experience even better.
The shop itself is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details in both the decor and food presentation.
Finally, we found the prices to be fair, reflecting the quality of the food, its preparation, and the overall experience.
As fans of great treats, we’ll...

Quality of gelati was high, flavors were all terrific except coffee, which was just fine. Being from Italy, I gladly find these remind me of home. The pistachio is particularly of note, as it actually tastes like... actual pistachio. What a concept. It's not even fake green.
Price is a little higher for the amount but if you want a higher quality dessert, well there you go.
We will return, I'm sure, and I would absolutely recommend it. If you want plant-based options, you have options here!
Final note: the menu is a little confusing, (ok there are açai bowls, what does that mean?) and font is a bit much. Decor is fine but less than comfortable and feels a bit overstated.
Please, that said, do yourself a favour and go get a damned good treat, the quality of which is hard to parallel anywhere...
