This review is for their brand new brick and morter restaurant located in Ellisville! We came on opening day (today 2/4/25) and was one of the first people to order! They did an amazing job with the reno, which used to be the old Alibi 25, a much darker bar and grill. There are a few new items on the menu here and a few new ones in the works. Otherwise, same delicious menu from their food truck. I got the "All Hail Ceaser" chicken sandwich- lemon pepper chicken with a giant parmesan crisp, topped with ceaser lettuce on a croissant bun. We also ordered the "Original Totchos"- crispy tots with white queso, bbq pulled pork, fire roasted corn, lettuce, sour cream, bbq sauce and candied jalapeños (we ordered the single portion) My husband got the "Street Corn Chicken Tacos"- Mexican style grilled chicken, guacamole, fire roasted street corn, Mexican crema sauce, cotija cheese all on corn tortillas. Everything was fresh and delicious! The lemon pepper chicken really brightened up the ceaser dressing on the sandwich and that bun... next level! The bbq sauce on the totchos was so good, I thought it was a honey sauce, sticky and sweet. The tacos were amazing with plenty of toppings! This restaurant is a counter service casual dining with a full bar, so win win there! For being the first day open, everything came out timely and we had zero issues! I highly recommend checking...
Read moreWeird horribly abstract menus that doesn't even make sense lol .. not sure it will last in this location but maybe it will .. good luck I hope
I assume the owner replied to this with a bit of sarcasm , not sure ....yes I give reviews as I see them it's part of how the " review system " works
I'm not sure what the owner was confused about .. it's a weird menu ( tots and egg rolls ) in a very restaurant heavy part of town ..and a few people Who I know have also said the same about this place ...Strange and not really that great ... so all I said was ....I'm not sure it will last in this location ( given the fact that there are many successful restaurants nearby ) .... but .. stranger things have happened ... good luck to them ( I hope at least ) so , I left the review wishing them the best ... but this owner .... decided to complain about the fact I've left other negative reviews lol .... it's the nature of reviews .. people write their initial response ... it's how it works ;) no biggy
So I hope I'm wrong .. and they are successful ( positive )
Don't open yourself to reviews if you are offended by them ? It's just the nature of it ... you'll be ok you got some...
Read moreI stopped in at Truck Norris Twisted Eats in St. Louis for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The place has a really cool vibe — concrete floors, bold colors, comfortable seating, and plenty of TVs. The open layout makes it feel wide and welcoming, and they also have a nice little outdoor patio option.
The food was outstanding. The tater tots were honestly the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, crispy and crunchy, with a spicy honey drizzle that set them apart. I also had the Chicken McFly sandwich, which came with blackened chicken, thick-cut bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and barbecue sauce. It was outstanding — flavorful, filling, and a generous portion for lunch.
They also have a wide variety of sauces you can pair with your tater tots or sandwiches, which makes it even more fun. The menu itself is excellent, with all kinds of tacos, burritos, sandwiches, and creative tater tot options.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion size, and the service was great from start to finish. Overall, I loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun spot with...
