Poor customer service. Not personable. Bought a brand new $640 washer. Lady said there was one in box in warehouse to go around back. Went around back and the workers ignored us and walked by 5 times not saying a word. There disappear and let us sit in the cold for 15mins, then come out with thr floor model without asking if its ok with us. Both them and the lady inside had a bad attitude like we were wrong for asking about it and its just our tough luck and its the same as a new one anyways. So guess we wont be back. Better off going to a bigger company out of town where they at least care about and appreciate the business more and have better customer service skills. Sad that alot of ely business has this bad attitude and poor skills all because they think they are the only option in town. Well they lost good customers here. We dont care if we have to spend a whole day and $100 in fuel. Its principal with us. And for brand new customers coming in for first time its really ignorant on there part. One day, if and when Ely grows and more business comes in people will have a another option, and these poor acting companies will not be forgotten. They will be gone quickly with new competition so much so that it wont be much competition at all for the new business...

I bought a loveseat that when delivered had a small tear on the back. Apparently the delivery guys took pictures when they unpacked it. I was not here when it arrived and my husband accepted delivery. It was right before the holidays and I never got a chance to call. I was so pleasantly surprised when the manager of the store called me to make it right. I couldn’t help but ask how he even knew about it. He said his delivery guys took pictures when they were at my home( my husband forgot to mention that). Within a week they ordered a new one from the factory and delivered it to my home in Eureka! Now that’s customer service! This is where we will shop for furniture and appliances from now...

Great experience every time coming into Wilson-Bates, and have been coming to this store for years. Staff has always been able and willing to help as soon as you walk in the door with knowledge of each and every appliance or piece of furniture they have or that they may be able to get in stock for you.
