
Glad to see this place open again and with new owners! My wife and I have come here multiple times in the past and was disappointed when they closed back in the fall of 2023 but have to say that the food here is even better than before. The overall setting is still the same, essentially cozy tables located in cell blocks and this provides private and warm dining experience. Now, the main reason I didn't give a full 5 star review is because on our first visit since its reopening, we found our service to be friendly but exceedingly slow. I don't know if they were just understaffed for a Tuesday evening but everything seemed to take forever and to the point when we were finally able to place our order, a ribeye for my wife and halibut for me, both were out and no longer being offered. My wife did end up getting the filet and me their surf and turf chimmichuri kabobs and I should say, both were cooked well and were delicious. I got my meal with the soup of the day and it was very good too but the salad my wife got was very plain and kind of disappointing. That said, the bread and chimmichuri that they offer before your meal was very tasty and I probably could have made a meal out of it. While there is no bar in the restaurant, there is one located just outside the doors in the casino and it is where we like to start before dinner. As always, we find that the service there is always friendly and the bartender typically offers up generous pours and at reasonable prices. With all that said, it is my hope that the disappointing aspects of our recent visit were just a result of growing pains and we'll definitely give it another shot in the future. Read moreThis place is extremely expensive. They really want to be a 5 star restaurant. However, they are a 3 star at best. It's a steak house, and they we're out of the most popular cuts and out of the halibut. So, I ordered the baseball sirloin it was way undercooked for medium and it was so tough and chewy I couldn't chew it, I had to spit it out. The kabobs were disgusting, flavorless and tasted burnt. The creamy garlic chicken breast was pretty good. The asparagus was actually my favorite part. All in all, it was a huge disappointment and I'd never go back. They need to charge HALF of what they do. They charge $9.00 for a small tiny loaf of their bread. It's good, but not $9.00 good. Perhaps $3.00 good. The salad was good. Cold and fresh. Surprisingly, as I was expecting it to come out warm and wilted. The Salmon was seasoned well. It was a tad over done. I had all the toppings placed on the side in case I didn't like it. The mango salsa that is suppose to come on top was ok. I personally would not like it on my salmon. Use caution if dining here. See menu....
Read moretheir was to much drama with the waitress. the steak was over cooked. i ordered medium rare. we could hear her and the cook bitching about it being sent back and the length of time it took to get another one. she kept arguing about it so we canceled that order paid for my husband meal and left. sorry we didn't pay attention to the locals...
