Inside Out is a game changer. It presents neuroscience in a way that helps you see the how and why of your emotions. The way the movie takes you into the seat of your feeling and the developmental stages we encounter in life is brilliant. I am a therapist and I will for always from this day forward recommend this movie to everyone. It shows how all the emotions are important and necessary and they also need to be expressed and kept in check...they work together. The movie also introduced beautiful visuals for the subconscious mind (add in that there are also great things living in the subconscious) and long term memory. What movie in the past has talked about the importance of core memories and emotions? It also highlighted the importance and possibility of a corrective emotional experience....this is the healing piece. I saw the film with my 19 and 21 year old children. We all agreed that our joy level was through the roof after seeing it and it is truly a movie to own and share with everyone. This is a movie that Heals! and yes I did shed a few tears. Bravo Pixar!!!! you have succeeded in bringing more light, education, love and joy to the planet. Sincerely, Dr. Kellie Kirksey Holistic Psychotherapist The Cleveland...
Read morePixar Anation Studios in Emeryville, California, is a place that holds a special place in the hearts of many fans of their incredible films. Naturally, we approached the guest side, hoping for a chance to experience some of the magic of Pixar. However, we were quickly informed by the guard that the studio wasn’t open for visits. While they do have a store inside, it’s only available to employees and their guests.
I must admit, I was incredibly disappointed. It was heartbreaking to have been so excited about the possibility of experiencing something related to the beloved films, only to be turned away. This lack of transparency, particularly in the way the location is presented online by Google, was a huge letdown. For this reason, I’m rating Pixar Studios with one star—purely based on the fact that the experience did not match the expectations set by the location’s online...
