HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! NO CURBSIDE PICK-UP??? LACKED EFFORT TO ADDRESS ISSUE!
My partner is Covid positive and in effort to limit my contact with others, I ordered curbside pick-up.
I used their text message notification to let them know I had arrived and received this message, "You made it! We see you in the parking lot and your order will be brought to you soon!"
After waiting more than 10 mins I called the restaurant and was told I needed to come inside to pick up my order. They don't have curbside pick-up. I asked to speak to the manager and was told, "I'll try to get her but she's busy"
Upon entering the restaurant I disclosed my partner has Covid and my efforts to limit contact with people to the staff at the front desk. I requested to speak to the manager and again was told they would have to check because they were busy.
When the manager approached me she did not introduce herself and did not have on a name tag, so I'm only assuming she was the person in charge. I showed her the messages on my phone for curbside pick-up, instructions to wait in the parking lot and my direct exposure to covid. She acted confused and unsure about why this happened. She offered assistance carrying out my order but looked confused when I refused to follow her thru the restaurant to the back door where I was parked!! Again I'm trying to limit any exposure to others.
All the manager could say to me as I got into my car was, "I'm sorry, we're really busy!"
Can someone please explain to me why my receipt says CURBSIDE with a description of my vehicle yet the staff was confused about what that means or why I was expecting my order to be...
Read moreDon’t come here, don’t order here either. They say they have curbside pickup, but they don’t use it. You can order your pickup, park there and try and call the number like the instructions say and they will never answer. I sat for 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone and no one ever did. What if I was disabled? This is ridiculous business practice. I walked around the building to the front door, expecting them to be busy and there were only 3 tables seated. Also, there were employees sitting and enjoying a break when I walked in. When I walked in, they got up and went to the back. Everyone working there was laughing and having a good time, while 3 people were standing at the front waiting for their curbside pickup orders. I got my order and went back to the vehicle. While sitting back there I could see 7-10 employees in the back window laughing, holding on to each other and hugging. Having a good time…yet no one could answer a phone call and assist the curbside pickup? To top my service issue, my food was wrong. Read moreThe service and food was great until we left and I realized they didn't give us the free kids meal with my adult entree. Shady practice to only apply the deal if someone specifically asks for it, and then just hope they'll be too preoccupied with their kids to ever realize you overcharged them. When I called, the lady that answered acted like she was confused by the concept of the deal, she started saying something about needing a ticket for it, which was false. Then, after I asked the same question five different times, five different ways, she finally seemed to understand the deal I was talking about, a deal that they have daily for 6 hours every day, which seem to be a completely foreign concept to her up to this point. She said something about how they'll only apply the deal if you specifically ask for it. She then tried to tell me that I wouldn't be able to come in for a refund tomorrow morning because the deal wouldn't be going on then??
