⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprise discovery and a great lunch experience! My wife and I were headed somewhere else when we spotted Ramen 101 from the road—it looked inviting, so we decided to give it a try. At first, parking was a bit tricky since it’s tucked inside a lot, but we ended up parking right in front—lucky find! A woman greeted us nearby and asked if we could buy her a drink before heading in—it was a bit awkward. Inside, the place looked sharp—great visuals in the windows and a clean, quiet vibe. The menu offered plenty of appealing options, so we both ordered the spicy beef ramen (but mild) and an order of deep-fried vegetables. The ramen looked as good as it tasted (see the picture)—tender beef, perfectly seasoned broth that wasn’t too spicy, and the veggie tempura was impressive—especially the sweet potato slices, which are my favorite and were a delicious surprise. The service was friendly and attentive, and the environment was peaceful, so we could enjoy our conversation without noise. The total came in under $65, and it turned out to be a really pleasant, unexpectedly great stop. We’d happily come back!

I’ve gotten take out here twice and liked the black garlic ramen & tonkotsu ramen 4/5. Portions are large & packaged very well. I got rangoons last time which I thought were too sweet I wouldn’t get them again. For the ramen I got the highest spice level but thought it was low to moderately spicy since I have a preference for spicier food and like it when it’s really hot. Big bowl of cozy on a cold day for sure!

We stumbled upon this nice little place while visiting Emeryville California near Oakland and San Francisco. Great food and very friendly staff. Word has it that Benny the owner had a long time vision to become successful and create a business from scratch. I believe his vision was accomplished... come check it out when in town. GREAT JOB Benny👍🏼😉 Ramen 101 is located in Northern California.

I've been waiting for this place to open since August, noticed they were finally open during my trip to Pak'n'Save, and they had a BOGO deal for Dec 1, so tried the classic tonkotsu ramen and a chicken ramen. The ramen was pretty good, the portion was well sized and the pricing is very good for want you get. As a ramen shop the selection is pretty similar to the basic ramen shops around the east bay, except for the fact that they also sell hawaiian food. It's not a high end specialty ramen shop like Yuzu ramen or Shiba Ramen, but I would probably recommend this place over those on account of the overall price per quality/quantity. A good mid-teir ramen shop. Plus they have a small outdoor patio space with a few tables so you can...

Cashier named Eric needs to be retrained for his job. He lacks professionalism and good customer skills. He made us wait almost 5 min to take the order because he was too busy on the phone. After placing an order as I was approaching the fountain to get my drinks he yelled very loudly " Don't get the drinks yourself, it's my job to get you drinks" which I found very rude and disrespectful. I know we are during COVID 19 pandemic, but that doesn't give you the permission to yell at your customer. if you are that concerned about your safety or costume's safety due to COVID-19 then why don't you have a written Note on the fountain. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until the owner gives this rude cashier the...
