So I started coming here a few months ago because of a Groupon and honestly for that price the quality was fine. I do agree with the fact that after you did that Groupon, they try to sell you other packages. Theyâre at a great price, but if youâre not expecting it, it comes off a little bit not great. And not something you want to deal with at a spa.
I did buy that package and honestly the quality was fine and then I started paying full price for it and for the price that youâre paying honestly Iâm not sure that itâs worth it so I did kind of just take a break from getting my nails done For a while
Then I decided to come back and give it another try about two weeks ago because overall the quality was fairly good and I really just needed a pedicure now that weâre going into spring So I called to schedule an appointment. We scheduled the entire appointment before they tell me that I need to do a deposit, which was never the case before. Mind you my appointment is in two hours and I have a major migraine and I was still in bed for this and Iâm like can I just pay you when Iâm there in two hours I feel like shitâ no we absolutely have to do this because otherwise we canât keep your appointment was their response. I understand wanting a deposit, but this is something that should be said at the beginning of a conversation not after you schedule the appointment and then calling me back regarding that to ask me for it. This is just slimey.
So I get there and I do a French pedicure with removal of the gel And I pay $60 for all that in total They give me the little pedicure slippers. I go home in two hours later I put on flats and I smudge. They let me come back and fix it and I end up leaving my friendâs barbecue to do this and then I come back. I donât put on shoes for hours and then at night I put on heels. Mind you at this point this is seven hours after I originally left and the toe that got fixed along with another one of smudged And the problem was, they werenât working for the next few days and I needed this done for something the following day So I just start reading the reviews and I think I agree with them that they are using old product products as thereâs no way I wouldâve had to go back twice
But hereâs where it gets better after those two days they were off I tried calling and theyâre having so much issues getting me in just to fix it that it took almost a week from when I originally got it done to get a touchup â And then literally 24 hours later I go out and I put on heels and another toe smudges!!! Like how expired must the product be that another toe smudges more than 24 hours later. Attached is a picture. And honestly, at this point, I paid a whole bunch of money for something I didnât get to enjoy or anything, and they made such a hassle for me to get it fixed the first time that at this point itâs not even worth it But it sucks because itâs not cheap And well you guys see attached to what happened. I essentially just threw 60$ down the drain⌠which really freaking sucks ⌠as now I had to change outfits for my event. And here I am 2 weeks later with a smudged toe after two redos and finally having a second to even try to do something. Btw the others smudged a bit but this one was so bad after 24 hrs!!!!! Any nail polish should dry by then
For what itâs worth I think the overall quality of the techs is not bad, However, this salon definitely uses old products as there is no other explanation for this. And itâs a shame given the price that they charge And how difficult they make it to get anything fixed
I would say just save your money and go somewhere else As if there is a mistake, theyâre gonna make it impossible for you to deal with it â And are clearly out for money, but not customer experience
Overall, this was a really bad experience and now I have to spend more money trying to get this fixed đ Plus, they were pretty rude about having me come in for touchups...
Read moreThis salon is completely unprofessional and dishonest. I tried to book an appointment for my wife, and the woman at the front desk told me they didnât have any openings until the following week â even though Iâve booked here before for my daughter without a problem. When I called back the next week, she suddenly said she could accommodate us but immediately tried to upcharge me over the phone before even seeing my wifeâs hair, just because we were using a Groupon.
I made it clear that this was unacceptable and false advertising, because the entire point of Groupon is to honor the offer. Instead of fixing the situation, she called me back accusing me of âusing a Groupon alreadyâ when my wife had purchased her own separately.
My wife isnât fluent in English, so I usually handle appointments, and it was frustrating to deal with someone so uncooperative and manipulative. In the end, I just asked Groupon for a refund because this salon clearly has no intention of honoring their own promotions.
On top of all that, the place itself looks outdated and messy. Honestly, the only reason they seem to get business is through Groupon â but after this experience, I wonât be coming back, and I wouldnât recommend anyone waste...
Read moreI truly cannot believe the 1 star reviews I am reading; Sounds like weâre talking about two different places. I cannot comment on Groupon because I donât use those services but I will share that my experiences with VM have all been peaceful, professional, respectful, nurturing and literally the best massage and facials I have ever gotten. When I was going through a breakup and decided to treat myself for my birthday, Maria and her other employees made sure to make me feel like a princess. I have not experienced any issues with scheduling and have been accommodated when necessary. Took my friend, she loved it and bought more packages for herself and for her mom. She said she left feeling extremely light and loved. As a woman, I tend to think I always need to provide but when I come to this spa, I am reminded to let go, be present and enjoy being pampered. If you are looking for the same high-end treatment for a reasonable price, then you need to go to...
