Evergreen Fine Fresh Foods — Restaurant in Englewood

2nd time here and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back. Clean place, friendly staff, and the food is delicious! 3 best things about this place:

1- Food is FRESH and prepared well. I ordered the Grilled Vegetable Foccacia Sandwhich - a risky move considering many places offer this on their menu, but few execute it well. Many other places, you end up with rubbery vegetables. Not here. Fresh, flavorful, and on a perfectly crisp foccacia.

2- The VARIETY of foods to choose from. They post fresh daily specials on their Facebook page and they actually make specials you WANT to try. Their main menu gives you so many options no matter what you are in the mood for. Want to eat healthier today? Then choose from one of their smoothies, variety of vegetable-based options, or one of their protein packed options (there are too many to list). The point is, even though it's a healthier option, you'd barely know it because they make it so tasty with the vegetables/proteins they pair together. Craving a juicy burger or roast beef or chicken and mashed potatoes? They've got that too. I personally can't wait to return and try their mix and match vegetable and grain bowls.

3- The staff is awesome. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. You can tell they take pride in their food.

If you're in the area, definitely need to stop...

I have never seen a staff hate being there more than these people.

If you don't walk in with business casual clothing, you probably won't get much love.

I placed an order over the phone, came into the store, nobody greeted me for 3+ mins, then another lady comes in after me, gets greeted immediately and her order taken immediately. (We got the same thing yet somehow she ordered after me and still left with hers first)

.. I don't care about that but when it happen repeatedly over and over and over again it gets tiring.

Again they have ok food but not good enough for you to be treating people with such bad energy so blatantly.

Me, my family and friends are taking a break from this place.

Workers here are entirely too rude, I'd rather starve than be treated like I'm unimportant and invisible. 0/10 . Plus mind you, I'm overpaying 10x for a smoothie the least you can do is be nice.

If i was the owner i would restaff the entire place and get people in there with good high energy that WANT to be there ...

Placed an order for delivery for a business lunch presentation and will never call here again. The woman I spoke to was so rude, telling me "I'm ordering too much because it does not fit on the paper they hand write the orders on for delivery" and when I asked if she could just simply write on a second piece of paper to fit the entire order, she said no - so ridiculous! Never seen a restaurant who doesn't want to accommodate larger orders for a higher tab. She then hung up the phone very abruptly when there were still other pieces of the order I wanted to confirm, so when I called back and said I wanted to make sure she got all the details of my order she said "yeah I got it" and hung up again. We then called back to completely cancel our order because my interaction with this woman was so unnecessarily hostile because we were placing a "larger" order (the order was 6 items, chips, cookies, drinks). Would be helpful in the future to get some longer paper to write normal...
