Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience with this Petco Store or branch itself. I am from Germany and spontaneously adopted a dog from the animal shelter, which is why I needed a travel bag for the flight home. I was so happy that a shop was open (in Germany everything is closed on Sundays) and that it also had suitable bags. I went there straight away yay!!! First of all, I found it impossible for the salesperson to bother me with her personal opinion about transporting my overjoyed 8kg dog to Germany in a bag. He loved the bag, went in voluntarily, lay down and let himself be lifted up without any problems. She was also annoyed about having to advise me about the bags, so I figured it out myself with my dog. 2. It was very annoying that the store did not accept my international credit card and sent me to the store next door to get cash, which only gives out a maximum of 30 or 40 dollars for purchases. I couldn't take my dog into the store with me either, which caused even more stress. The real experience then came at the airport. I bought an "original" packaged item, which was already broken, as a dog must have broken it beforehand and the bag was simply packed back in the box. I almost couldn't take my flight because the flight staff complained about the hole. But they were understanding because I had taken the item out of the original packaging and it wasn't my fault. Unfortunately, I had thrown away the receipt shortly before and couldn't get it back. We landed in FL and I saw that there was a Petco there too, so I called Vegas and asked if I could exchange the item there and if I could please have the transaction or invoice number because I couldn't come back to Vegas to exchange it. I took an Uber to a store that unfortunately only had the item in a different color and wanted to exchange it at another store. However, it wasn't possible to make the exchange there either because the system couldn't see the transaction code. The staff tried very hard to find a solution with Vegas and in the end both stores refused and told me to contact customer service by phone. So I did that a second time. In a 45-minute conversation, customer service told me that this was a store matter and that they couldn't help me. A voucher couldn't be issued either. And the consultation between customer service and Petco FL also came to nothing because this entire company is not able to access the payment data retroactively. How do tax documents work without access to the required data? So I arranged with J. from Vegas that a friend of mine would come to Vegas to pick up the voucher (this had to be done in person) and that I would take the broken dog bag to an animal shelter because I couldn't physically bring the bag to LV. Everything was sorted out great!! After 2 days of effort and consultation with incompetent customer service. My friend came to the store the next day and didn't receive the voucher. Now it was suddenly a problem that I couldn't return the bag (which would end up in the trash anyway or be sold to the next customer haha). So I had to get up my nerves again during my vacation and have a consultation, which again is unnecessarily complicated and without customer orientation. Is it always like this in America? :O If someone at this company can take care of my request, here is the transaction number #176027 . The bag cost $84.99 and the little unicorn toy cost $2.99. In total that's $87.98 without taxes. The purchase is from 11/24/2024
Thank you, I definitely learned a lot from it! Either way, the situation turned out well and could have ended worse.
Otherwise there should be a pretty good selection in the stores, so I'm giving it one star.
In any case,...
Read moreOkay, so I was a little torn on what star rating I should give. On the one hand you have some nice shops like World Market, Party Nevada (festive) and Pets are Us or whatever it's called. Then you have the corporate standards like Target and Ross. You can then go and get a Taco or In Out Burger (yum) and buy a cell phone. All these amenities alone should give it a 4 star rating but... some spaces were empty and looking a little ragged. Then, there were some homeless people (thanks bad economy) and people trying to solicit for a voting ammendment. This dropped it a full star and almost 2. I don't know about you guys but I like to shop in peace. That's why I quit going to the malls. Every 5 feet someone is trying to eat your brain. Darn capitalist zombies. I still go there but I really try to avoid the "brain eaters"....
Read moreThis shopping mall has it all. Whether you need a bank, a Dollar Tree for some great finds, to Ross (to dress for less), Target and Kohls, Blue Diamond Crossing has it all. If, after shopping you would like to indulge yourself with a nice cold treat, there's a Baskin Robbins. (Or if sweets aren't your thing, pop in to the In & Out Burger instead.) For the cherry on top of that ice cream (or burger), head on into Massage Envy and relax and let your worries subside. If you're stressing over all the money you just spent they will massage away those worries. A GREAT one stop shopping experience. A convenient location at the intersection of Arville and Blue Diamond. Highly...
