UPDATE Tried reaching out twice to the email the business provided in their comment on here. No response at all, and no attempt to address the issue. Overall a poor shopping experience with Farmers. We purchased a sofa/chair/ottoman set last fall. Looking for a great deal as everyone is, we settled on a nice looking set, a bit above our price range. Weâll call our saleswomen âGâ, she said that she could drop the price on the chair because they had ordered too many. We asked if weâd be getting a new chair or the display one. G proceeded to tell us that we would only be getting a new chair because display furniture can have nightmares like âbedbugsâ. One week later we go to pick up the furniture, get it to our house and sure enough thereâs the display piece with holes and all. We call, and after much he-said-she-said, Dale (who is our hero in this story) gets it right and gives us a new chair. After a couple of weeks of having the furniture we realize that the couch has a loose beam of wood in the arm and the chair also has a loose beam that both cause the furniture to feel cheap and creak. Not wanting to deal with the customer service we decided that we will live with it. I hope this review can help someone looking for furniture.    Read moreI bought a sectional and very large glass cabinet. Paid cash, over $3500 and these 2 pieces ended up being garbage. The latch on the cabinet door instantly broke, something to do with the gears inside. I waited a really long time for the part to come in for it to break again while they were fixing it. The guy who sold me this piece even said this style of furniture was garbage after he could not fix it. So I asked if I could get my furniture replaced with something else but he said they can't do that. So, not only does my couch feel like it came from aliexpress within a few months, you can hear it creak everytime you move in it, but I have a cabinet door I have to leave cracked or pry open with a screw driver.. The quality is not good nor the service in my experience. The hole in my photo is where the knob is supposed to be. You are supposed to be able to turn it to lock/unlock and pry open.
Now u have to stick something in it to open the door.. As a woman go with someone knowledgeable. Knows how to ask the right questions, and be a good advocate on what to do when things go wrong.. The show pieces looked beautiful but the outcome is such a big let down. Im just supposed to accept they took my money and didn't atleast make sure my door is in...
   Read moreThe sales woman was nice enough and the warehouse manager/ delivery guy was amazing.
HOWEVER, I paid $59 to have my furniture delivered and had to help move it into my house because the second delivery guy couldn't get on base because he had a criminal record.
On top of that, I was supposed to get my furniture on Saturday and didn't get it until Monday.
When I called to speak to the manager, who was well informed a week before delivery that my husband would be away for military travels, someone took a message for her and she never bothered to call back.
They had a week to arrange to get furniture to me with two able bodied delivery men but instead wanted to ignore the problem thinking it would go away. I'm sure she assumes that since I got my furniture there is no need to address their lack of respect for a paying customer.
We are not picky people but when we spend $2500 on furniture, we expect to be treated like customers and get what we paid for. We should have just rented a U-Haul and moved it our own selves.
Thank you to the warehouse manager for working with me and getting furniture into my house so my daughter and I didn't have to sit on the floor. It's because of him that I am even bothering...
