New Century Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Enterprise

The sushi rice is spot on. Since it's what sushi is all about, the freshness of the other ingredients only enhances the crisp sweetness of the rice.

The buffet has a wide selection of the most popular Americanised Chinese foods. The stuffed mushrooms and seafood dishes are my favs. No, not the small shrimp in whatever format they have been used. Surprisiused, the imit. Crab is good. The frog legs are good. Nicely cooked but too often spoiled by excessively over salting.

The soups are delightful but I have yet to find a wonton to put in mine. They are extremely popular therefore assumed to be yummy. Egg drop works in its place. I love the plantains!!!!

Environment is noisy and unpleasant if you aren't into unruly kids. It's a cultural standard that I am not use to. We avoid sitting where the crowd is. This cuts down on kid flurry. Also, it dampens those screams the little voices produce.

It is a favorite place for us to go] as the food is enjoyable. Price is good as well.

We do have trouble maneuvering the buffet. This is because we are older and unsteady on our feet. Folks, suddenly, cutting us off has resulted in falls or near fall occurrences. It is a long walk from parking to the restaurant entrance once inside. So, bring your wheelchair or...

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I am almost 50 and have NEVER had such a horrible experience anywhere ever. There was absolutely NOTHING pleasant about this dump starting with the grumpy goons that work there. We were greeted in an overly aggressive voice from a man working there who sounded as if what he really wanted to say was hello get the hell out! Anyway fast forward to fixing our plates, EVERYTHING on that buffet was COLD. Only maybe 3 things that had decent flavor to them we said a little prayer to not get food poisoning from this place. As we were eating I was facing the buffet so I had the pleasure of having 3 angry faced goons standing with their arms crossed leaning on the buffet Literally staring at me the entire duration of our meal. I have NEVER in my life felt so unwelcomed & rushed anywhere before. Our experience was so bad that we will NEVER go back to this disgusting restaurant again. I was visiting friends in Enterprise, AL and went with them to their 16 year old granddaughter's birthday party. I thought she made a sophisticated choice of cuisine. We were a party of eight and were greeted cordially by the manager. The restaurant accommodated all of our needs. Two of us had bariatric surgery, so it was verified prior to ordering that we could take home our leftovers. We did not take advantage of the situation. It was refreshing to be able to get our money's worth. The youngest, 5 years old, received a child's price. Overall, we received a military discount. Therefore, the total bill was very cost effective. The restaurant offered a wide variety of proteins: fresh seafood, beef, chicken, pork, and tofu. The selection of Asian and traditional veggies was fresh and vast, as were the sauces, condiments, rices and noodles. The desserts looked enticing.
