Listen, I hardly leave reviews but let me tell you something. I have ordered from this place TWICE using a delivery service app. Each time I was so disappointed with nearly everything I have gotten. The crepe is really just a thick dry taco with chocolate spread on it. I swear graham crackers aren't that dry. If you want some bland Mac and cheese then this is the place to go. You would think a Nasville chicken mac sandwich would sound tasty till you bite into it. But, no, you get a flavorless sandwich with mac and cheese that some how tastes like you lack tastebuds. I've had tree bark that tastes better than this. The yucca fries are decent at best. I do have to commend them from the sauce because those are the star players at this establishment... however I dont think that sauce should make a meal taste good. Good is an overstatement, I would say tolerable. This food tastes like air without the pollution and not in the good way. As a kid I used to eat dirt and that even tasted better then the food i have ordered. I wouldn't even be that upset to have tasteless food, but on top of everything its way overpriced. I regret every cent I spent here. I would've paid more to lick dust off of a desk. Literally don't go here. I feel like the shakes are some how just as bland.
This is an honest review for both potential customers and the owner. Please step it up and for the love of everything, just use some seasoning, add some type of flavor to your dishes. Maybe use more sauce on the sandwiches. It's not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDrumroll please.... BEST. VEGAN. EVER.
Yes. After reviewing hundreds of vegan/vegetarian restaurants - and eating at thousands more, I will claim Veggie Street as my favorite Vegan Restaurant as of April 2025.
I was fortunate enough to be in town, working right nextdoor, and went in for lunch. I got the VIP treatment from the owner who gave me some great recommendations. The Mushroom burger was hands down the best burger of any kind that I can remember. The fact it was served on a pretzel bun put it over the top for me. The only thing I love more than a good burger is a great bun and the only thing I love more than a great bun is a pretzel bun!
But the reason this place took the top spot for me was the Co-Sheen-Ya appetizer a.k.a. Brazilian Coxinha. I had never even heard of these little fried street food bites, and damn.. it was amazing. (I had the chk'n version). Anything fried is already going to be tasty, but these were next level. I don't even know how to describe them, you should Google Coxinha and then imagine it as an even tastier vegan version.
Also, I'm sharing some photos, but they do not do it justice. Go on their website and look at their beautiful pictures if you need any more convincing, but trust me, one bite (especially the Co-Sheen-Ya) and you won't need any more...
