I have been going to Pita House since they opened. Even though at times the food quality and seasoning was not consistent, the menu still had a couple items that I would continuously order from. The staff was always friendly and especially the woman that was behind the counter that took the customers order. Lately, the quality of food and service took a major plummet, decline. The staff is unfriendly, the person that answers the phone act as if he is doing you a favor. Very rude does not say thank you at the end of the call, and if you ask, when will the order be ready he is abrupt. When you actually arrive at the restaurant to pick up your order, one time, there was no one behind the counter, but there was a man sitting at the table by himself. He saw me standing there, and he didn't say anything, I assumed he was just a customer. The place was completely empty, I actually had to call the restaurant while I was in the restaurant to see if anybody is in the back, the man at the table answered the phone, and then he came around the counter to give me my order to go. He didn't say hello, he didn't say thank you. I had a large order and he didn't even bother to ask if I needed help to my car , I looked at him sarcastically and asked him to help me take the order to my car. The second time was about a week ago, this time it was an older man behind the counter. He was rude and didn't even say thank you when he gave me my order to go ,the food was terrible; the tabuli and fatouch salad were not made fresh , both salads were slimy and soggy, as if they were made days prior to placing my order. They don't use fresh olive oil. You can taste the poor quality cheap oil. The spinach pies were not baked fresh, or they were already premade, burnt on the top and bottom. If Pita House continues with the same quality of food and poor service they will not last for another year. The lady that was always there is no longer at Pita House, or she was not there the last couple of times I placed my order to go. She was friendly when you called an order in she took her time to listen to you and made sure she got your order correct. And she had the decency to say thank you before hanging up the phone, and always asked if I needed help to my car. I'm not sure if they are under new owners or new management. The food quality is terrible and service is below zero. I have a feeling the health department will be closing the place...
Read moreCustomer service barely exists. After ordering and paying i sat at a table. Here i saw my cashier turn take a few step and start cooking my order. Ok, so he is a cook, i get it, he is about making the food not making small talk with the customer. I respect that. Location was clean-ish. No stains except for the inside of the trash bin. The majority of the tables were clean, minus a straw wrapper on one table. Floor, windows, etc clean. I ordered the Lamb Kafta Plate (never had it before, no clue what's involved). I added falafel (4) appetizer. I got it for here. I was pleasantly surprised. The lamb was juicy, lightly flavored but well prepared. The, what looks like long grain rice pilaf was also lightly flavored prepared well and good. The side salad was refreshing and tossed with a good herb vinaigrette. The falafel was also lovingly prepared an fried perfectly and had a great flavor and texture. I forgot all about the three sauces, until near the end of my plate!!! I wish I had remembered them sooner!!! The one in the back of the pic looks and tastes to be tzatziki sauce (this was good with the falafal and lamb), next forward was i believe to be tahini sauce (it was nice) the last in front (omg!) this must be a garlic ghee WHAT AN IMPACTFUL flavor!!! Overall, it's a good meal! It's a quiet spot that desearve a little love from the community. Ps- I'm a bread lover so I had to try one each flat bread. Mostly because I wanted to finish the...
Read moreTheir online menu says $9.99 for a 2 Kabob plate but when I went in to pick it up it was actually $17.99. I showed the lady her online menu with the $9.99 price from her listing on Google Maps and she said tough luck, she has no intention of fixing it because she "doesn't care about google". Well you know what? Your customers find you from Google so if you want customers then you need to have correct prices on your online listings. When I got home, I checked their website, pitahouselv.com and it also has several different prices than what they charge in the store. I can understand accidentally having incorrect prices online but my issue is with how they handled the situation. My food got thrown away because I didn't want to pay the overcharged rate and she literally did not care that there were incorrect prices online and even told me she has no intention of fixing it. I'd call that "Bait and switch".
Edit: The owner just replied to my review with a blatant lie. He claims they never had the $9.99 price and it must have been an incorrect price that was just up there for a moment. Well, go see for yourself, the menu is...
